Die letzten 20 Jahre versuchte ich vergeblich, mich in diesem Leben als freiberuflicher Künstler zu positionieren. Meine Gemälde wurden längst nicht mehr gekauft, die Arbeit als Straßenkünstler brachte kaum Einkommen, und ich beschränkte mich nur noch auf reine Auftragsarbeit.
Mit der Zeit verwandelte ich mich so von einer ehemals kreativen Person in einen Yuppie. Und eines Tages schrieb ich in einem Ausbruch von Selbstironie den Yuppie-Blues über mich selbst ( https://youtu.be/5d8nTug9cK8 ).
In dieser Zeit stieß ich auf einen Ausspruch des amerikanischen Genetikers Bruce Lipton, wonach unsere Gedanken, unsere Wünsche, unsere Haltung und unser Lebensstil einen entscheidenden Einfluss auf unsere innere und äußere Wirklichkeit haben und die Gene steuern können.
Da beschloss ich mein Schicksal zu ändern. Ich versammelte alle meine Kräfte, innere Haltung und Gedanken und... plötzlich passierte mir eine ganz unglaubliche Geschichte!
Mitte Dezember 2015 bekam ich den Auftrag, anhand eines Fotos das Portrait zu zeichnen. Noch am selben Tag begann ich mit der Arbeit, während im Hintergrund der Fernseher lief. Durch Zufall hörte ich Neuigkeiten über eine andere, spätere Version des Voynich-Manuskripts, die kürzlich entdeckt und entziffert worden war, und es stellte sich heraus, dass dieses Manuskript von Herzogin Anna von Braunschweig-Grubenhagen (1414 - 1474) im
