@rusorthodox01 Oh, I'm sorry -- I should have clarified. I was looking for an explanation from an actual Orthodox Christian, not a member of a schismatic and heretical "true orthodox" group. Sorry, pal, but the temperament and ecclesiology of the schismatic "true orthodox" is rabidly sectarian, uncanonical, and worse than Protestantism. Perhaps when you come back to the actual Orthodox Church then you words will be worth hearing.

@TheCrookedTimber I don't know if the passive and timid attitude continually and flagrantly displayed by World Orthodoxy is any more commendable than the boldness of the so-called "schismatic" and "uncanonical" groups. The only valuable lesson I learned from my involvement in World Orthodoxy was to exercise spiritual caution. Far too often, I was encouraged to embrace theistic evolutionism, tolerance towards homoeroticism, and the heretical notion that heaven and hell are the same reality.
