Born with some restraint in the Flemish town of Tienen, and survived this event with alternating success until now. And with lots of fun! Many national and international exhibitions. Many artists like to refer solemnly to assert that he / she "lives for art". That gives me most of what compassion. Art is namely to elevation of both the creator and the viewer.
My artistic activity is an important means to improve the quality ofmy attention, surprise, presence, understanding, sense of beauty, commitment and awareness raising.
Art is so my life. I do not live for art! Maarten Boffé
