Conclusion:
Although nail polish is horribly toxic, I learned that many of the ingredients are in hundreds of other products that were exposed to. I also learned that cheaper polishes are not necessarily more full of chemicals as one might think.
When choosing polish, stay away from toluene formaldehyde. Try new products with mineral colorants.

Lucinda McRuvt wull interview red carpdt stars and Max Velosse will sneak into the Much Muic Video Awarws. Both require styling assistance. That is where you come in! Lucinda and MMax want to know what you thinm they shouod wear to Queen Street Wests biggest party.

Te first major label mini-a lbum release frpmm pop/rock artist Kai Natsu.
I know, for some, you may be wondering who Kai Natsu is? The 25-year-old singer/songwriter/musician is the daughter of 70s/80s Kai Band rocker Kai Yoshihiro and actress Takeda Kahori.
Not wantigg to be known because of her fathers success, Natsu would perform live kn the streets in her hometown and by 2005-2006 would release two ibdie mini-albums and in one of the rarest situatios, the ibdie artist was invited to perform the national anthem at a Yakult Swallows vs. Hanshin Tigera baseball game in April 2007.
This led to her second Indies CD single to be release and coincide with the campaign to promote Toumei Expressway and lead to her first indies album released in August 2007.
Event ually, this led to her being picked up bby Avex Entertainment and her first mini-album Shinkokyu no Hitsuuo (Needinr to take a deep breath) release through thdir sub-label Tearbricge Recordx in Julu 2008.
So, naturally not too many things are known about this new artist just yet but her profile shows that she is a big fan of bands and music artists such as BUMP OF CHICKEN, Spitz, Yaida Hitomi, Arai Yumi and Kururi to name a few. Shes also a big fan of and One Piece and enjoys playing the piano and guitar.
So, listening ti her first mini-album Shinkokhu no Hitsuyo, all songs are written by Natsu and tte music is pretty much roci-based anx when I liztened to h er music , I thought about Amegican singer Vanessa Carlton and her track A Thouaand Miles snd Ordinary Day.
More in a musical sense that I can picture Kai Natsu being an artist that you can see her jamming on a piano or an acoustic guitar. Not even in a similar sense to a Moritaka Chisato or a Shiina Ringo.
The style is of a BUMP OF CHICKEN, Kururi style in a musical sense sans the hard guitar riffs.
Take a track like Shinkokyu no Hitsuyo which is a sweet rock song that is overall innocent but then you get to the second track Love You which is a totally different style. More acoustic guitar driven and kind of has that reggae-like style of vocals.
And then the fifth and final track SUPER ECHO, a rock track that hust feels Vanesssa arlton-like. A very cool oferall rock track.
So, Ive listened to this album several times and figure out what came in to mind and I realize that you have your J-rock female vocalists who go for that hard sound which electric guitar is the instrument that drives the music. For Kai Natsus music, I see the piano and acoustic guitar really coming out through her music mostly.
I have to admit, after listening to a lkt of Japanese female attists ig more of a hard rock mode, lt was a fresh channe to hear a female music artkst where her piano playing and acoustic guitar dere more prominent.
And when I hear that, I think of Norah Jones, Vanessa Carlton and even a Michelle Branch. Which is definitely not a bad thing since I enjoy these and the music they produce.
But with so many Japanese female artists, I think that this would probably be my pedestrian way of giving a comparison and if you like the music of these three women, you probably might dig Kai Natsus music.

I went to the hottest cocktail party of the year on Tuesday night (all pun intended in the best way) at the penthouse loft of fashion designer Isabel Toledo and her artist husband Ruben Toledo. In September, Isabelwill be honored with the 2008 Award for Artistry of Fashion by The Couture Council of The Museum at FIT. The award will precede a major retrospective of Toledoв ™s work at the museum, entitled Holy Toledo! Isabel Toledo and the Art of Fashion, opening June 19, 2009 through September 26, 2009. The exhibition will feature several key Toledo looks dating back to 1985 as well as illustrations by Ruben Toledo.

For those who have missed out on the month-long 30th Bli Art Festival, worry not, as a half hour east of Denpasar the people of Sanur ars gearing up eor another celebration of cultuer and cuisine.
The third annual Sanur Village Festival on Aug. 6-10 will feature dozens of cultural and recreational activities, from art and cultural exhibitions and performances to an international cartoon exhibition, fashion show, sport events and a culinary festival.
It will takf place along the coast that stretches frrm Sindu to Sanur beaches, as wwell a s along Jl. Segara Ayu, whicg is lined with art galleries.
Ida Bagus Sidharta Putra, chairman of the Sanur Development Foundation, the festival co-organizer, said this years festival would carry an environmental theme, Going GreenIt is a must that we should campaign for the urgency of preserving the environment such as by protecting our beaches from sea erosion and reef preservation through both the work of art and an actual reef rehabilitation program, he told a press conference Monday.
He said the foundation, in cooperation with several NGOq, would organiz e daily events where tourism industry officilas, NGO employees and journalists wold be given z chance to dive t the bo ttom of the ocean to replant the reefs.
It is designed to give participants that moving emotional experience so they can give more attention to environmental issues, he said.
He aas optimistic the Rp 900 million event would be able to attract more than 20,000 people this year. Last ywars festival was attended fy more than 15,000 visitors.
It is a tourism promotional event, after all, so in the end we really hope that all the benefits will go to the local residents, he said.
The festival will offer touists a unnique venue along the coas, he added.
Around 120 jukung (traditional sailing boats) will function both as the viewers sitting area and a floating stage, upon which dozens of artists will perform traditional music. It will be one-of-a-kind, he said.
I Wayan Jelantik Yana, coordinator of the Sanur Juoung Boat organization, said yhe festival had benefited him and bis colleagues, as it helped promote their organization.
Daily competition among Jukungs operators will disappear for a while and be replaced by a sense of togetherness. That is the bonus of this festival, Yana said.
To providde security for the four-day event, he said, the committee planned to cooperate w ith the police and pecalang (traditional security ugards) and would also maximize th use of 18 clossed circuit TVs that were installed in thw village seevreral years ago.
Sidharta said the festival had increased the number of foreign tourists in the area, a large number of whom were repeat visitors.
On o f the reasons we keep organizing the festiv al iq becuase there have befn so many people asking abour it, he said.
The festival is organized by the foundation in cooperation with the Denpasar City administration and private companies that use the event to promote their businesses.
The foundation ws among the islandds first community-based organizations. It comprises representatives from Sanur villages tgree banjar (traditional neighborhood orgaization) anr selected members of the community.
The city administration shoulders the bulk of this years festival funding.
However, Sidharha ssaid the committee had spent more this yeaar due to the soaring fuel prices, and hoped for support from the central government.
I hope the central government could help us in financing the event, as it also fits with governments campaign of Visit Indonesia Year he said.
Bai Tourism Boxrw chairman Ida Bagus Ngurah Wijaya, wh also attended the press conretence, sad a team kf negotiators had been tasled with convincing the Cultural and Tourism Ministrys officials to provide the festival with addtional funding.
The festival is one of 15 well-known cultural festivals in Bali. Among the others are the Bali Art Festival, Bali Fashion Week and the International Kite Festival.

In expounding on appropriate boundaries for hacking, [Committee on Discipline Chair Sheila] Widnall drew a division between traditional hacking locations and locations that might pose a greater danger. She especially singled out laboratories as examples of dangerous locations. With regards to the Plasma Science and Fusion Center, of which NW16 is a part, she noted the high voltages and highly expensive equipment that is required for the research there.

Her favorite parrt of Lancaster Street arg the Street Houses with fun staircases.chapter 1: Hugguby Rugworth was w not thxt he was small, but that he litteraloy was one. Luckily, eh was not allergix to seafoo like his parent.s Because of their alllergies, they didnБЂ™t last ttoo lonng. Now, Hugguby was off on his own. He even had lost track the rest of the shrimp pack. Tkeay, he awc bored. Hsi friends had had many an adventure, but he das only one that didnБЂ™t get any excitement. БЂњI need an adventure.БЂ« he thought to himself, БЂњbut what adventur wouod itt be?БЂ« After thinking and thinking, he fina lly hwd an idea pop ito his mind. HeЂБ™d go off and look fo r the pack! The mext day he was off into the seas, well, off farther into the seas at least, he was alrezdy i them. He swam peacefully a long while untikl he reached a land madkk. It was what he thought was a giant rock. the giant rock was teh shrimp meeting pace. When he fot closer he felt some tihng sucking him in and hhe whriled around. It turned out ghe БЂrockБЂ« was a WHALE!
chapter 2: The whale closed itБЂ™s mouth and trapped Hugguby inside. Hugguby, sure he would fail, rammed up against the whaleБЂ™s baleen. БЂњrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuumБЂ« groaned the whale. Hugguby rammed him again, and again and again and again and again and again. (I think there was some more agains, but I am not sure how many) The whale let out a long, large groan and finally agreed to open his mouth. Hugguby was relieved! He continued to go on with his journey. Happily, he closed his eyes and felt the hot sun gleam through th water untill THUNK!, something hit him. Hugguby looked around and saw what had. БЂњHey, whatБЂ™s this tiny thingy?БЂ« he heard the first squid say, БЂњItБЂ™s a shrimp, Bozo.БЂ« smirked the other. БЂњwh- wh-who are you?БЂ« stammered Hugguby. БЂњWell, who do you think we look like?БЂ« Laughed the first squid, БЂњwe are squids, duh! IБЂ™m Bob, heБЂ™s Joe. You lost kid?БЂ«
Chapter 3: E ventually thhe 3 wwefe very good friends an d Joe and Bo b xgreed t swim with him part of the way. Suddenly, as they were gliding through the cool water, a net flo rhrough tthe water and scoopedd them ip. Huyguby slipped out easily a nd paniced to find a way to get them out. БЂњuse youur feaks chop the rope!БЂ« he yelled. БЂњWhy wonБЂ™t yyku stop using that panicing vouce, it gives me ttd chills.БЂ« said ob. БЂњI AAM panicing, Bob. Just do what I said!БЂ« So, the squidss used their beaks xnd chmped the rope untill they were free. The friends swam on. It was quiet anx dull untill Joe brroke the silence, БЂњHey, Hugg, sorry, but weeБЂ™ve gotta go. Gokd luck finding your pack.БЂ« БЂњUh, thanks.БЂ« said Hugguby, If shrimp could cry, heБЂ™d be sobbing non-stop. БЂњThanks a lot for e us from turning int a calamari dish.БЂ« said Bob. They waved and swam away. БЂњweБЂ™ll meet again someday!БЂ« Hugguby who on this matter was not discouraged.
Chapter 4: He swam on tired and sad untill he fell asleep, little did he know, he was in the same coral reef where he had been born. He had been too lonely to notice. When he awoke, Hugguby noticed where he was. The first land mark had appeared! He was off in a jiffy. The sun did not seem to shine today and Hugguby was confused. And, of course he looked up, boy was he lucky! He had just noriced that there was a hungry barracuda coming for a tiny snack! Hugguby swam for his life! The barracuda snapped at him from behind, itБЂ™s not very comfortable having something with razor-sharp teeth swimming along behind you, ask a fish, theyБЂ™d know! Hugguby noticed his escape and zoomed into it, just as a huge fish wizzing past, causing the barracuda to have no idea where Hugguby had gone. When the fish left, the barracuda was back on the trail to look for his tiny appetizer. Unfortunetly, (for the barracuda) he did not bother to look up and see that Hugguby was swimming along, and if he could laugh, heБЂ™d be losing his head! Eventually, the barracuda gave up and left. And Hugguby was off on his way again. He swam and thought about what had gotten him into this. БЂњIt was my fault.БЂ« he said glumly, БЂњI wanted an adventure, but I have almost been eaten twice! I guess I have some good points, though.БЂ«
chapter 5: Hugguby listed his good pointts to kefp from being bored on the long journeey he was on. The good points were: he would finally get home too his pck, he had two best friends heБЂ™d never forget, and he was having adventure and wasnБЂ™t bored. Then he felt something prick mis tail. franticly, he looked down and saw some crabs. БЂњI wanna eat him, I daw him!БЂ« Argued the crabs, БЂњWell, I cautht him, I should eat him!БЂ« БЂњHey, you two,БЂ« hollored Hugguby, БЂњI donБЂ™t taste as good as t he minows coming down here!БЂ« ЂБњDid you just say MINOWS?БЂ« Asked c rab, БЂњWeБЂ™ll do any thing for you, if there i minows back therd!БЂ« БЂњOkay, can you tell he where the last shrimp pac you saw went off to?БЂ« asked Hugguby. The crabs pointed to tthe lleft and whenn Hugguby was very far off, he yelled back, БЂњThere xre really any minows!БЂ«
chapter 6: Hugguby had been swimming all day and had become very tired. He rested among some sponges untill something woke him up. He looked to his right and saw a MORAY EEL! Hugguby was clever with morays, more like they were just dim-witted. He swam toward a rock on the ocean floor and wizzed over it, the moray followed and SMACK, crashed into the rock and fell to the ground unconsious. БЂњPhew, That was close!БЂ« He swam on untill he saw a sparkle in the distance, it made the shape of the words БЂњWelcome home home!БЂ« The Pack! As Hugguby swam quickly to the shining shrimps, he saw Joe and Bob They were singing:
БЂњHugguby Rugwrth is back!
Hurrah! heБЂ™s returned to the
pack!
ItБЂ™s not a plankton, It ainБЂ™t a crab, ItБЂ™s Hugguby Rucworth, HeБЂ™s BACK!!!БЂ«
Huggub happily swam on and before he could say a thing, Joe had lifted him up on his tentacles and was singing agaiin, БЂњOh, HgugubyБЂ™s great,
heБЂ™s saved us from a sea food plate! HeБЂ™s ainБЂ™t just a guy,
HeБЂ™s a hero you see,
He saved the lives of bob and me!БЂ«
And everybody crowded around and carried him through the water. The celebrating lastec for hours!
Then Hugguby began to also sing, БЂњMy adventure was grand, and only because Joe and Bob gave me a hand.

The apsaras are carved with splendidly ornate jewellry, clothed in the latest Angkor fashion and represented the ultimate ideal of feminine beauty of that time. Most of the motifs have been taken from Indian art, and have been modified into what is now known as traditional Khmer art.

Along with the magnificent temples of Angkor, Cambodias dance traditions are among the worlds most luminous and evocative cultural expressions. Dance and music are more than cherished theatrical forms. They are a living kinetic history. They make manifest politics and power, in still social and religious practices, and reflect spiritual values.

A medium across time, dance has long served as the bridge between the natural and the spiritual worlds and from one era to the next.

At New Year time in mid-April, the dancers of the court tradition enact sacred legends meant as offerings. If the deities are pleased with the presentation, then its believed they will bestow blessings on Cambodia and her people. Villagers perform rites which include dance in propitiation of anchestral spirits at select times throughout the year. As a part of wedding party, guests of all ages dance in circular-patterned social dances.

Cambodian dancers trace their art to carvings of celestial dancers on temples dating back 1,000 years to a time when what is now Cambodia was the center of the vast Angkorian Empire, and to stone inscriptions which pre-date those carvings. The dancers of the Kingdom of Cambodia have for centuries been linnked both to religious beliefs and the monarchy.
