NEW PARABLE. PRO HAPPINESS
Monday, December 23, 2019 10:34 AM
The parable is New Year. About happiness
3509984_41c78a484c2727c0f3a70b98742f86bd (692x700, 340Kb)1.Two young Christmas trees grew on the edge of the forest.
One has become a beauty. It stands tall, slender, in a magnificent outfit with a bell from the proud top to the ground.first_move
2.The other, her friend, modestly stepped aside. It is ugly: branches, like shreds, stick out on it in all directions, a clumsy trunk without a hint of harmony.first_move
3.The beauty became proud and began to think that she was better and smarter in the whole white world.first_move
4.Winter came. The peasants came to the forest for firewood, cut down a clumsy Christmas tree. Then the beautiful Christmas tree gloatedly said:
“You see, I knew that they wanted to cut you down.” They would not dare me! I am the decoration of the whole forest!
“We'll wait and see,” said the ugly Christmas tree. - Time will tell.first_move
5.And time has shown. After the New Year, they met in a garbage dump. The proud beauty began to cry and complain to her friend about people because they cut her down for the holiday, and then threw it away.first_move
6.The clumsy Christmas tree answered her:
- In vain are you angry. You should have foreseen this. There is nothing more pleasant, nobler in the world than how to render service to the benefit of others. Your share is sad because you had to give up. You thought so highly of yourself, so seduced by your beauty, that when the hopes did not come true, you became disappointed and sad. I try to think everything over and understand what should be and what cannot happen. That’s why I don’t have to be so bitterly disappointed, that’s why I am happy.first_move
7.- You? Happy? Are you ugly, lying in the trash - and happy? Cried the beauty.
“Yes,” the clumsy Christmas tree continued calmly. - Ever since I was cut down, I have not ceased to be useful. I was set a milestone on the road. I, along with others, showed people the way, felt happy, and now even more.first_move
8.“Why is that?” The beautiful Christmas tree asked in disbelief.
- A lot of people walked past us, but one boy each time stopped to rest near me. Every day I watched him as he walked out of the city, waited for him to reach me to rest from the road. We got used to each other, made friends. I saw his smile, I was glad to meet him. I was happy.first_move
9.“I wish I were in your place!” Why do I need my beauty now? And before, it was not useful to anyone ...
- Look! The clumsy Christmas tree interrupted. - Here comes the father of that boy!
The man, seeing both trees, said: “That's good. Two whole. Perhaps enough to melt the stove. "
In the house where they were brought, it was not heated for several days. The boy, sick, lay in bed.
“It will be warm right now,” said the father, chopping branches and branches off a beautiful Christmas tree. And a clumsy friend heard the beauty rustle:
- Finally, finally, and I'm happy!first_move
