Photo on the Night Stand...

After a long night of making love,
the guy notices a photo of another man,
on the woman's nightstand by the bed.
He begins to worry.
'Is this your husband?'
he nervously asks.

'No, silly,'
she replies, snuggling up to him.

'Your boyfriend, then?'
he continues.
'No, not at all,'
she says, nibbling away at his ear.

'Is it your dad or your brother?'
he inquires, hoping to be reassured.

'No, no, no! You are so hot when you're jealous!'
she answers.

'Well, who in the hell is he, then?'
he demands.

She whispers in his ear

'That's me before the surgery.'

The World Is Waiting For You...

Do not be afraid to shine. The world needs what you have to give.
Open up the areas of your being; Expose them to yourself - to others.
You are valuable. You are unique.
You have much to give. Do not be afraid to give it.

As we risk ourselves, we grow. Each new experience is a risk.
We can try, and maybe fail; And, as a result, grow or hold back and stagnate.

You have the potential to be anything you want. You are free to chooose.
You are limited only by your fears. Let your dreams take over.
Fly with the eagles. Soar into life.

The world is waiting for you.

Take Each Day As It Comes...

People lose their health to make money; then lose their money to restore their health. By thinking anxiously about the future, they forget their present such that they live neither for the present nor the future.

They live as if they will never die, and they die as if they have never lived.

Take each day as it comes, and live each day to the fullest. (c)

Почему в названиях фильмов определенный артикль ставится после самого названия и через запятую? Например Unborn, The. Ведь теоретически названия должны употребляться без артикля....так зачем он нужен в конце?

The age of darkness has come!

They are singing anthems of rebellion to me

Deadly shadows passing

Through the fire of Oblivion

Come into my darkness!

Let it be you are my ray of light

My sacred evilness the passion burning as fire

The feeling lifting me up!

Praise the darkness!

The age of freedom, the age of glory!

They pray anthems of rebellion to me

Their prayings awake me from my long sleep!

The age of shadows!

The cosmic retribution!

The planetary anthem is black parade of mighty resolution!

The future has come!

The Universal revolution!

Reach me in the darkness

Enjoy my perfect mightness

We'll rule the time of Shadows

My sacred evilness the passion of burning fire

We're willing you to free your dark desire!

Lady Godiva...

 LADY GODIVA

Some 900 years ago an extraordinary occurrence took place on Market Day in the English midlands town of Coventry.

Two monks at St. Albans Abbey in Hertfordshire first recorded this amazing story in Latin. Roger of Wendover wrote of it in the twelfth century and Mathew Paris in the early thirteenth century. As the Abbey stood at an important road junction, it would seem that the monks may have heard the story from travellers who were on their way from the Midlands to London.

The astonishing tale that has come down to us through the centuries, is that sometime in the eleventh-century a proud, pious lady rode through Coventry on Market Day completely naked, covered by nothing but her long hair!

Was this true? Apparently so!

Who was this pious medieval streaker?Earl Leofric was one of the all-powerful lords who ruled England under the Danish King Canute.

Leofric was a tyrant, he tyrannised the Church and did not hold the same religious convictions as his wife, nor her fondness for the Midlands and its populace.

Give Your Best To Relationships...

A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of marbles. The girl had some sweets with her.

The boy told the girl that he will give her all his marbles in exchange for her sweets. The girl agreed. The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful marble aside and gave the rest to the girl. The girl gave him all her sweets as she had promised.

That night, the girl slept peacefully. But the boy couldn’t sleep as he kept wondering if the girl had hidden some sweets from him the way he had hidden his best marble.

Moral of the story:
If you don’t give your hundred percent in a relationship, you’ll always keep doubting if the other person has given his/her hundred percent..

This is applicable for any relationship like love, employer-employee relationship etc., Give your hundred percent to everything you do and sleep peacefully.
