Destine. Part 10.

Вторник, 22 Мая 2007 г. 22:26 + в цитатник
I went invisible, got to Destine's house and left the bike in his yard. Nobody was at home. I flied back thinking where Jay and Jessie could go. While flying, I met Destine and asked him for directions. He told me where they were being at the moment. After thanking him, I said: "Gee, I've almost forgot to thank you for the..." "Pass, that was nothing."
"Listen, da ya have a big bro?" I said a moment later.
"Sure. He's in New Orleans now. Why are you asking?"
"Just wondering. Ha, I've been to Louisiana some days ago!"
"Really? Well, you were absent for five days, I've lost my mind thinking where you could be! You're hot, gal."
"Thanks. Now I'm getting to Jay."
"Luck," he said and left. I continued my way.

Jay and Jessie were sitting in an open air cafe. They didn't even notice my appearance 'cause they paid attention just to each other.
I went invisible, got close to Jay and whispered in her ear: "Destine". Her face reddened. I stepped back.
"Whuts up?" Jessie wondered.
"Somebody said the word..."
"Destine?"
"How you know?"
I appeared and sat next to them. "Hello!"
"Warakurna!" they both said. "Hi! How’s a joyride?"
"Excellent," I replied.
Jay's phone rang and she slipped away for a while.
"Gee, she's hot, "Jessie told me quietly.”Da ya know what she just said? 'Who cares about Destine!' And da ya know what she said before?"
Jay came back. We had a little peaceful speech about nothing. The young girl was throwing slight glances at Jessie, and I noticed that. The heaven ended whet I said: "Listen, can I steal Jay for a moment?"
We moved to the place where no-one could hear us.
"Are you an emo-girl?" I wondered.
"Why the hellya think so?"
"Looks like you fall in love with every single man."
"And you're jealous!"
"I'm not trying to steal Jessie, you know. But if you two sympathize each other, why it's so hard for you to leave Destine alone?"
"You don't know the half of it," she replied. "They're different."
"Destine doesn't like you, neither does Page. You wanna have them both as symbols of your glamour, dontcha? A woman needs a man, one man, if she's not a bitch."
"I didn't select one yet."
"You did awreddy. Jessie is made for you. Da ya think I didn't see anything?"
"Were that you?"
"What was I? Someone who said the word? Sure."
"You were spying on us???"
"Nope. I wasn't and never will. The good thing is that you went red, which means you're not a bitch yet. But you're awreddy an emo."
"Okay now, maybe I am, but you have no rights!"
"You're correct now, Jemima Gillmor. Now get back to your boyfriend. I don't wanna see you again, former friend of mine. You'll never get Destine. Never!"
She turned her back to me and got back to Jessie. I followed her and heard her last words. "Let's move," she said.
I looked at Jessie.
"Bye, Australian goddess!" he shouted. "And remember that 'Destine' is only one letter away from 'Destiny'. And thanks for the girlfriend!"

To be continued.
