Каждый раз я вспоминаю Джорджа Карлина и его знаменитые слова.

 "Вы должны благодарить жизнь за..."

 * супруга, который каждую ночь тянет одеяло на себя,потому что он спит с вами, а не шляется где-то по ночам.

 * тинейджера, который смотрит ТВ, вместо того, чтобы мыть посуду,потому что он дома, а не бродит по улицам.

* налоги, которые вынуждены платить,потому что у вас есть работа.

* мусор, который приходится разгребать после вечеринки,потому что у вас есть друзья.

 Wheezing KETTLE
 

(притча)

У одного человека был Чайник. Он был такой красивый, блестящий, а на его носу сидел свисток.

Хозяин Чайника  любил гостей. Они часто приходили к нему и всегда пили чай. Чайнику очень нравились такие вечера. Хозяин брал свой любимый Чайник, наполнял водой и ставил на огонь. Гости сидели, ожидая, когда она закипит. И когда вода начинала бурлить, Чайник подавал громкий сигнал. Он любил посвистеть, но, обычно, ему это не удавалось делать долго. При первых звуках, хозяин снимал Чайник с огня.

Гости прихлебывали ароматный чай и восхищались хозяином и его умным Чайником. В эти минуты Чайник был необыкновенно счастлив. Ведь его все любили. Он всем был нужен.

- Как же хорошо жить! – думал он.

Но однажды, когда в очередной раз собрались в доме гости, и Чайник закипал, разгорелся спор. Люди выясняли что же в жизни самое главное. Все спорили и хозяин в том числе, и позабыли про Чайник. Он свистел, свистел, звал к плите, но никто так и не услышал его. Чайнику стало больно, так как вода совсем выкипела, но никто не шел. 

Наконец, хозяин спохватился и прибежал на кухню. Чайник стоял весь черный от копоти.  В  боку прогорела дыра.  Хозяин очень расстроился. Но делать было нечего, как только выбросить Чайник на помойку.

Лежит Чайник в куче мусора и думает:

- Никому я теперь не нужен. Я уже никогда не смогу никого напоить вкусным чаем. Эх! Чем так жить, лучше утопиться!

И пошел Чайник к реке. Пока он дошел, наступила ночь. В реке чайник увидел отражение звезд, круглую луну и залюбовался.

- Вот если б и солнышко увидеть на прощание, почувствовать его тепло, а там и помереть не страшно.

И решил подождать. Прилег на берегу, подальше от воды, на песочке. И так ему было обидно и жалко себя, что он тихонько заплакал. А потом засопел, засопел… И не заметил, как заснул.

Проснулся Чайник от какого то странного ощущения внутри. Там что-то двигалось. Но это была не вода, а что-то совсем неизвестное ему.

- Ты кто? – спросил удивленный чайник.

- Я – Береговая Ласточка. Птичка такая.

 - А что ты здесь делаешь?

- Вью гнездо. Скоро у меня будут птенчики, маленькие ласточки. Здесь очень удобно, сухо и нет сквозняка. Вот, если еще раздобуду перышек и мягкой травы, совсем будет замечательно.

Ласточка собралась лететь за травой, но Чайник почти закричал, останавливая ее.

- Подожди. Так что, теперь я твой дом?

- Конечно. Я буду жить здесь вместе с моими птенчиками. Не задерживай меня, мне нужно поспешить. 

И птичка улетела на поиски перышек и сухой травы.

- Теперь я – дом! Во мне будут жить маленькие птички… Ласточки… Я им нужен! – вдруг засвистел Чайник. Как это у него получилось, он не знал. Но он свистел… Точно, свистел. Сначала тихо, а потом все громче и радостней.

Каждый человек необходим в этом мире. Каждый занимает свою собственную уникальную нишу.

 Важно просто увидеть это!

Но ведь нечего делить нам уже
Кроме мыслей и простых новостей.
И печально на любом рубеже
Вдруг остаться одному, без друзей.

Все, что было - это было не зря.
Ради дружбы постарайся, пойми.
Так обидно исчезают друзья
И вернуть их невозможно ... почти!

Бабулька, рыдая и переходя на вой:
- Я ЗА-А-А-БЫ-Ы-ЫЛ-А-А-А ГДЕ Я ЖИ-И-И-И-ВУ-У-У-У .....
