KamAZ-43269 (4x4) armored escort vehicle
Appointment
The KamAZ-43269 armored escort vehicle is intended to transport personnel and various cargoes, tow trailers
on all types of roads and terrain and carry heavy firearms and light artillery weapons and other armament and war
materiel. The vehicle is designed for operation at working ambient temperatures of –45 to +50 °, a relative air
humidity of 98 % at a temperature of +25 °, a wind velocity of up to 30 m/s and in highlands at altitudes of up to
4,500 m (passovers of 4,655 m).
Feature
The armored vehicle features:
– an armored all-metal steel closed monocoque with the rear single-swing doors and two side escape hatches,
two sliding roof hatches for the driver and the vehicle commander, four flap hatches for assault troops in the
hull’s rear roof portion, two windows in the hull’s front panel with armored protection of multiple glass units, a
flap armor roof of the engine compartment and a collapsible strut;
– two seats for the driver and the vehicle commander;
– eight personnel seats;
– places for installation, fastening and operation of communication facilities and special equipment.
– Optionally, the vehicle can be fitted with special equipment installed within the armored vehicle hull.
