Bill Saunders Site, countryside images are soft, yet meticulously detailed, and as timeless as a quiet Sunday afternoon in spring or a crisp snowy winter morning. With a delicate play of colour and light, and sharp, masterly brushstrokes, Bill creates a tranquil world few people see, yet many remember or yearn to find.
"I paint landscapes because that's what I love," he says. "There's no message in my work, only, I hope, a sense of peace and quietude."
beauty_Nikole (_) Felicia Olin Site about yourself :"My work focuses to capture the spirit of timeless beauty, striving for an ethereal quality. I have a love for painting figures that are often very silent and still, introspective, and emotional. My backgrounds are set as stages, and the colors are often warm and earth tones. I love patterns, and often use them in the hair, dress and background to build beautiful textures and colors. Another aspect of my figures are women and how they relate to nature. Some pieces are contemporary takes on the nude in the landscape, and some are influenced by early photographs from the late 1800s."

beauty_Nikole (_) Alex Gnidziejko Site, In the style of heightened realism, Alex Gnidziejkos paintings are reminiscent of the Dutch masters of the 16th and 17th centuries. Gnidziejkos painstaking technique of egg tempera emulsion and oil give his paintings a stunning depth and three-dimensional quality. The process he uses starts with a precise under painting with white egg tempera. Using small brush strokes that follow the contour of the subject, Gnidziejko brings definition to the form and accentuates its highlights. Transparent oil glazes of complementary colors are then applied to the painting. By building up many layers of these glazes over luminescent egg tempera, Gnidziejko is able to achieve the life-like quality that characterizes his paintings. As one of the foremost masters of this medium, his work is included in many public and private collections, including the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.
