Притча неизвестного происхождения
Случилось так, что яйцо орла каким-то образом оказалось в сарае фермера рядом с другими яйцами, которые высиживала курица. Через некоторое время вместе с другими цыплятами на свет появился и молодой орёл.

Прошло ещё некоторое время, и оперившийся птенец почувствовал необъяснимую тягу к полёту. Он спросил как-то мать-курицу:

— Когда я научусь летать?

Бедная курица даже не осознавала, что не способна летать, и понятия не имела, что делают другие птицы, чтобы научить своих птенцов искусству летать. Однако ей было стыдно признаться в своей неполноценности, и она ответила:
