1. Amazing Child Singers - video one
This is the first of several videos I'm making with clips, sounds and pictures of some of my favourite young singers. The clips in this one are:
1. Morgan Burke - All Shook Up (age 8).
He was on an Elvis cd with some other kids and this is the song he sang. It's so cute and really strong for such a young age!
2. Declan Galbraith - Ben (age 7,5).
This is a very early and rather rare recording of Declan. He was really young, yet it is so great!
3. Mercedes Ruiz - Can't Fight The Moonlight (age 9).
She was only nine years old here, competing on American Juniors. I think she was really good, even though she "only" made it into the top 20.
4. Chauncey Matthews - Moon River (age 11).
This was the performance on American Juniors that got him into the group. He was only 11 and his voice was breaking (it broke early for him), but you can't tell by his impressive singing!
5. Jessica Sanchez - I Surrender (age 10).
This is from an amazing performance when she was only 10 years old. Her strong voice and the control she has makes her sound much older, though.
6. Morgan Burke - Somewhere Over The Rainbow (age 12).
This is from Morgan's audition for American Juniors when he was 12 years old. No wonder he got in, his voice is awesome!
7. Declan Galbraith - Danny Boy (age 8).
This is from a performance when he was only eight years old. His singing gives me goose bumps, his voice is so amazing!
8. Chauncey Matthews - A Whole New World (age 11).
This is one of his earlier performances on American Juniors and you can tell he's a bit more nervous and less comfortable on stage in this video. It didn't come out in his voice, though!
9. Jessica Sanchez - Star Spangled Banner (age 11).
Isn't it amazing how she can just decide to sing a song and then have it come out like this? "Start the camera and let's sing" and it sounds like this. Her voice is so powerful!
Unfortunately I only have one video with Mercedes so far, but I put the others in twice. Enjoy!
2. Amazing Child Singers - video two
This is the second of several videos I'm making with clips, sounds and pictures of some of my favourite young singers. The clips in this one are:
1. A.J. Melendez - Still (age 12).
One of his great performances on American Juniors and I must say his most powerful one. No one knew he had such power in his voice until this performance! It still confuses me that he didn't make it into the final group.
2. Lucy Hale - Make it Easy on Yourself (age 13).
She - like A.J. - was one of the finalists on American Juniors and she did make it into the group. This performance sure shows why.
3. Morgan Burke - Somewhere Over The Rainbow (age 10).
His first huge performance when he was only 10 years old. He performed at Showtime at The Apollo and the crowd loved him. And with that voice and cute looks, who wouldn't?
4. Katelyn Tarver - Ain't No Mountain High Enough (age 13).
She did not have the best voice of the ten American Juniors finalists, but this performance was really great and it truly showed that she still does have a really good voice.
5. Danielle Freid - I Must Believe (age 9).
Danielle was the lead in a musical and her vocals are really impressive. She was only 9 years old, but both her singing and her acting was fantastic!
6. A.J. Melendez - The Night Has A Thousand Eyes (age 12).
Another terrific American Juniors performance. I love this one. He looks so comfortable on stage, his voice sounds really great and he looks like he's having so much fun!
7. Lucy Hale - Get Here (age 13).
My favourite Lucy performance on American Juniors. She sang it with such power and she made it seem so easy. I love it.
8. Morgan Burke - Why Do Fools Fall in Love (age 12).
One of his many performances as one of the finalists on American Juniors. I love how comfortable he is on stage and how much he enjoys himself. He has so much energy and his voice is amazing!
9. Katelyn Tarver - You Can't Hurry Love (age 13).
This was her audition for American Juniors. I think she did a really good job and her mum sure has reason to look so proud!
10. Danielle Freid - Tomorrow (age 10).
Dani was 10 years old in this clip, but her voice makes that rather hard to believe. She was singing at a talent show and - you guessed it - she obviously won. No surprise there with that kind of singing and happy spirit!
Enjoy!
3. Amazing Child Singers - video three
This is the third of several videos I'm making with clips, sounds and pictures of some of my favourite young singers. The clips in this one are:
1. Declan Galbraith - Walking in The Air (age 8).
He was eight. Eight, everyone! How can someone that young have a voice like this? This was the first song by him released on a CD and wow! Such power and control!
2. Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen - You're Invited (age 9).
Right, the Olsen twins. They are not the best singers in the world (usually, they're not very good singers at all) but I love the Olsen twins and I think they did okay with this song, which is the intro song to their party videos show (You're Invited to Mary-Kate and Ashley's...). And they were so cute!
3. Morgan Burke - You Can't Do That (age 10).
Another children's CD that he was on, this time when he was 10. He was so young, yet sang with such power. I love Morgan, he's so talented!
Also, the wallpapers used here are not mine. Credit to whoever made them.
4. Jordan Jansen - Bright Eyes (age 9).
Oh, Jordan. He's such a sweet and talented boy. He hasn't been singing for all that long, but you can't tell by listening to him. His voice is so pure and beautiful. He's really talented and he did such a wonderful job with this song!
5. Declan Galbraith - Carrickfergus (age 10).
My, oh my. The pureness, the control, the power. What can I say - Declan is such an amazing and talented singer! The emotion and the strength... He makes me smile and cry at the same time!
6. Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen - Dancing Your Dreams Encore (age 11).
This is from their "Ballet Party" from their party videos "You're Invited to Mary-Kate and Ashley's...". They are so cute here and I think they did well with the singing. Not great, but okay.
7. Morgan Burke - Build Me Up Buttercup (age 12).
One of his earliest performances (I think even the first) as a finalist on American Juniors. This performance was so good, all three of the judges and the whole audience gave him standing ovations! This was the performance that made him my favourite contestant on the show. I cannot believe he didn't make it into the group! He is so amazing!
8. Jordan Jansen - There's A Hero (age 9).
Beautifully sung by young Mr Jansen. He has a great singing voice and he enjoys himself so much. He's so very talented. Great job with this song!
There they are. Enjoy!
5. Amazing Child Singers - video five
This is the fifth of several videos I'm making with clips, sounds and pictures of some of my favourite young singers. The clips in this one are:
1. Jessica Sanchez - One Moment in Time (age 10).
She performed this when she was 10 years old and although I think she's done much better than this, it was an awesome performance! Great as always from Jessica.
2. Declan Galbraith - Amazing Grace (age 9).
I'm running out of compliments for this guy! He was only nine years old, sang a song like this and he NAILED it. Declan is simply amazing.
3. Charice Pempengco -- And I Am Telling You (age 14).
How amazing is this girl? Her voice is so powerful and the control is outstanding! I must say, she has one of the best female voices that I have ever heard. She sings this song better than Jennifer Hudson herself! Go, Charice!
4. Jackson 5 - I Want You Back (Michael age 11).
This is from the same time they performed "Who's Loving You" from my fourth video. Michael was sooo cute and his voice is amazing. The best child singer ever!
5. Jessica Sanchez - I Will Always Love You (age 12).
Maybe it's because she's never nervous when she makes these videos, or maybe it's just me, but does her voice actually sound the best when she's just singing around the house? Jessica is so very talented and this song is just perfect for her!
6. Declan Galbraith - Nights in White Satin (age 14-15).
The first clip is from when he sang it at home last year when he was 15 years old. The second clip is from his music video when he was 14 years old. His voice gives me goosebumps, he is SO good!
7. Charice Pempengco - Listen (age 14).
Again - what an amazing voice she has! I am sooo impressed with her singing. She blows me away. You go, girl!
8. Jackson 5 - Lookin' Through The Windows (Michael age 13).
Aahh! Michael again! Such an amazing voice! But also, the way he moves and his stage presence. Man, this kid's truly amazing!
Enjoy!
6. Amazing Child Singers - video six (Filipino Special)
This is the sixth of several videos I'm making with clips, sounds and pictures of some of my favourite young singers. This is also the first one of my "special" ones, which means the singers all have something in common other than a great voice. In this video they all come from the same country, the Philippines. I thought it was a great country to start with, because there are so many talented young singers in or from the Philippines.
The clips in this one are:
1. Renzo Almario - Music and Me (age 9).
He was only nine years old and probably a little nervous, but he is sooo cute and I think he did a really great job with this song, especially the highest notes. Go Renzo!
2. Banig - Anyday Now (age 10).
Oh. My. God. The voice. The way she moves. The emotion. The power. The presence. This girl has it all! She is around 30 years old today, but oh my God, she was fantastic as a kid! Was this girl born and raised on a stage or something? Wow! No wonder she won this competition!
3. Pocholo Bismonte - I Believe (age 11).
Aw, Pocholo. Sooo cute! And what a voice! The lower notes are not always amazing, but the higher ones! Wow! He's so very talented!
4. D'Beat Boy - My Love Will See You Through (age 9).
I loovee Joshua! Such a great voice in such a small body! I love this performance and he is so adorable!
5. Charice Pempengco - All By Myself (age 14).
Okay, seriously: you cannot make a video of amazing singers from the Philippines and not include Charice. She has such an amazing voice, she just blows me away every time!
6. Renzo Almario - You Raise Me Up (age 10).
I like this song a lot and I love it when Renzo sings it. He's such a cutie pie and this song is perfect for him. His teacher seems to think so too, doesn't she? ;) If he were my student and sang that to me, I'd cry too! Heck, I'd cry just if he sang it to me, he wouldn't even have to be a student or a relative or anything!
7. Banig - Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose (age 11).
This girl is just sooo awesome! Seriously, WAS she born and raised on a stage? She completely OWNS it! The voice and the energy, she's just amazing!
8. Pocholo Bismonte - Go The Distance (age 11).
First of all: I know it says "walk the distance" in the video, but it's supposed to be "go the distance". Sorry!
Aahh!!! Such an amaaziing voice! Seriously, I love this kid! He may not be completely in control of the low notes, but he OWNS the high ones! This really was his best performance in my opinion.
9. D'Beat Boy - Kung Kailangan Mo Akó (age 9).
I love this song! And I love this boy and his voice! He did a fantastic job with this! He is such a talented little boy! He sang this to his friend who's in a really tough situation and their friendship and his singing is so moving, it makes me cry too. Wonderful. And Joshua is sooo cute!
10. Charice Pempengco - I Will Always Love You (age 15).
This was one of her two performances on the Ellen DeGeneres show and she rocked the whole building! Amazing, amazing, amazing!
Enjoy the singers!
