I fell in love with the videos below the moment I saw them. Reason being that it combines two of my favorite things ever: dragons and art. Everyone loves dragons! So here are some master painters who draw stylized dragons in just one stroke.
Kousyuuya is a small studio in Nikko, Japan. The studio is known for its artists who, one generation after another, have mastered the art of illustrating dragons. Each piece goes through a carefully-designed process. Various flourishes are used to paint on dragon heads and then a giant sumi brush is used for a single orchestrated stroke. The process can be likened to ink wash painting techniques and calligraphy.
