С этой песни я начала слушать W.A.S.P. Было мне тогда 13 лет. Мы с мамой пошли на вьетнамский рынок. Мальчик-вьетнамец слушал кассету. "Шрека" тогда ещё не было, но взгляд у меня получился, видимо, очень убедительный. Кассету он мне переписал, несмотря на правдные гнев и ужас моей мамы. Американо-скандинавская металлическая команда "Sinergy" была основана в 1998 году. Кимберли Госс увлекалась музыкой с еще детства. В свои 17 лет она жила в Чикаго и пыталась там найти единомышленников. Однако в Штатах вообще никто не играл такую музыку, какую она хотела. Тогда она перебралась в Норвегию, где присоединилась к "Ancient", а затем к "Dimmu borgir". Госс успела отметиться также и в "Therion". Играла тогда Кимберли на клавишных и немного исполняла обязанности бэк-вокалистки. В августе 1997 года во время европейского турне она познакомилась с Йеспером Стромбладом из "In flames". Тогда у этой парочки возникла идея замутить какой-нибудь совместный сайд-проект. Однако им мешала полная занятость в своих командах. После ухода Кимберли из "Dimmu borgir" она переехала в Швецию, где все-таки решила реализовать застрявшую в мозгах идею. Йеспер и Госс быстренько рекрутировали к себе Алекси Лайхо (гитара, экс-"Thy serpent", "Impalen nazarene", "Children of bodom"), Шарли Д'Анжело (бас, экс-"Mercyful fate", "Witchery", "Arch enemy") и Ронни Мильяновича (ударные, экс-"Saturnine", "Falcon") и заперлись в студии "Fredman" для записи своего дебютного альбома. Сессии "Beware The Heavens" проходили в октябре-ноябре 1998 года. В начале 1999-го Кимберли перебралась в Финляндию, а остальные члены команды так и остались в Швеции. Дальнейшие репетиции группы оказались невозможными, и Госс решила набрать новый состав "Sinergy". "Beware The Heavens" появился на прилавках летом 1999 года, а вскоре состоялись и первые концертные выступления группы. "Sinergy" тогда разогревали "Metalium" и "Primal fear". По осени коллектив небольшой визит в Японию. К тому времени Кимберли и Алекси относительно утрамбовали состав. На тот момент в группу также входили Роопе Латвала (гитара), Марко Хиетала (бас, бэк-вокал) и Томми Лиллман ( ударные). В этом составе был записан второй альбом, "To Hell And Back". Пластинка включала в себя кавер "Hanging On The Telephone" от "Blondie". После сессий ммузыканты прокатились по Европе, а затем посетили Мексику. Весной 2001 года "Sinergy" снова приступили к студийной работе. Диск "Suicide By My Side" стал заключительным для Томми Лиллмана. Отбарабанив свои партии в августе он свалил из группы. На короткое время образовавшуюся дырку заткнули Матсом Карлссоном, а затем на постоянную основу был принят бывший одноклассник Роопе Янне Парвианен (экс-"Waltari", "Jimsonweed", "Barathrum"). Изменения в составе продолжились, когда рассорившись с остальными коллегами, ушел Марко Хиетала. Пришлось команде искать нового басиста. В качестве очередной затычки ненадолго взяли сессионника Лаури Порра. Перебрав несколько вариантов музыканты остановились на американке Мелани Сиснерос. Эта рок-дива уже имела за плечами 11-летний стаж работы на сцене и в студии с различными лос-анжелесскими командами. Увидевший свет в 2002 году "Suicide By My Side" явился лучшей работой коллектива за все время его существования. Агрессивный вокал и жесткий пауэр в сочетании с безупречной звукорежиссерской работой сделали свое дело, и альбом получил очень хорошие отзывы в музыкальной прессе. |
