      Painter, graphic artist, born in 1963 in Russia.

Micha Arkhipoff became a professional artist at the age of 20. Graduated from the LGITMIK Institute in St. Petersburg (National Institute of Cinema, Theatre and Music – Art Department) in 1993.

In 1994 he emigrated to France and spent his first several years in the country enjoying the long sought artistic freedom. Since 1994 member of the Russian Artists Union in Paris.

Until 1996 Micha Arkhipoff worked in different techniques – oil on canvas, watercolour, tempera, etchings, lithographs, icon painting and restoration. In 1996 he turned his expression to oil on wood, developing a remarkable and unique personal technique. Before long his work came to the notice of important collectors and art connoisseurs.
