Back Post tr /dc – BPtr/dc: work like normal tr/dc but insert your hook from back to front between the the first and second stitches in the row below, and then from front to back again between the second and third stitches.

Picot of 3ch - picot: insert hook through two loops of tr/dc and make sl.st.

Foundation Chain: Multiples of 8 + 6

Row 1: skip 3ch, 1tr/dc in next, * skip 2ch, 1tr/dc + 1ch + 1tr/dc in next ch, skip 2ch, 1tr/dc in each of the next 4ch; rep from *, skip 2ch, 1tr/dc + 1ch + 1tr/dc in next, skip 2ch, 1tr/dc in each of the next 2ch, turn.

Row 2: 3ch, 1tr/dc in 2nd tr/dc below, * work 6 times [1tr/dc + picot] in space of 1ch, work 1tr/dc + 1ch + 1tr/dc in space between 2nd and 3rd tr/dc below (or BPtr/dc from 6th row) ; rep from*, work 6 times [1tr/dc + picot] in space of 1ch, 1tr/dc in tr/dc below, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 3: 3ch, 1tr/dc in 2nd tr/dc below, *skip 1st tr/dc of shell, work 1 BPtr/dc over each of the next 4tr/dc of the shell, 1tr/dc + 1ch + 1tr/dc in space of 1ch; rep from*, skip 1st tr/dc of shell, work 1 BPtr/dc over each of the next 4tr/dc of the shell, 1tr/dc in tr/dc below, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 4: 3ch, 1tr/dc in 2nd tr/dc below, * work 1tr/dc + 1ch + 1tr/dc in space between 2nd and 3rd BPtr/dc below, work 6 times [1tr/dc + picot] in space of 1ch; rep from*, 1tr/dc + 1ch + 1tr/dc in space between 2nd and 3rd BPtr/dc below, 1tr/dc in tr/dc below, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 5: 3ch, 1tr/dc in 2nd tr/dc below, * 1tr/dc + 1ch + 1tr/dc in space of 1ch, skip 1st tr/dc of shell, work 1 BPtr/dc over each of the next 4tr/dc of the shell; rep from*, 1tr/dc + 1ch + 1tr/dc in space of 1ch, 1tr/dc in tr/dc below, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.

Repeat rows 2 - 5 until you have reached your desired length.
