![]() ![]() Site ![]() Kawazu has long been known as the "Town of Flowers" because of its abundant irises and Kawazu-zakura cherry blossoms. In the spring of 2001, the Bagatelle Park was opened, in a tie-up with the park of the same name in Paris. Three of the park's five hectares are devoted to a reproduction of the Paris park's Rose Garden, thus recreating the atmosphere of the French capital in the 18th century. The best seasons for viewing the roses are from mid-May to late June, and from mid-October to late November. ![]() ![]() more ![]() |
