Running is a popular exercise system that strengthens the heart and blood vessels, increases bone density and clears your mind. A lot of people do it, few can do it right. To avoid injury or burnout, start slowly and safely.
First of all, a few important things:
Designed to fit running sneakers, the kind that provide grip and foot support are correct.
If you make the run out, it is advisable to have a stopwatch clock.
If you're on a treadmill, be aware of table indices.
To build a good stamina, do the training run at least twice a week.
Speed training is not important, just keeping pace. Gradually reduced the time walking until you can run comfortably for 15 minutes straight.
Good luck!
