Fandom: The Lord of the Rings Music: Preliator by Globus Description:There's a lot I could say about this video, and I'm not quite sure where to begin. lol. It was the most fun to make; it was the hardest to make; it gave me all kinds of headaches; and I seriously hope this is my best LotR vid to date. I think that sums it up. LOL. This is basically a general LotR vid... "The Lord of the Rings In Four-and-a-Half Minutes" could be an alternate title. This vid spans the entire trilogy, beginning to end, and covers all the vital events of the story. It's action-packed and battle-scene-heavy. You may recognize the song I used; it's Preliator by Globus, but it's a "rework" of the Immediate Music song Lacrimossa, which was used in the Spiderman 2 trailer. The song was half the fun, as it's probably one of my favorite songs of all time! And it sounded like it was written for LotR. NOTE: YES, I KNOW the song is NOT by the BAND EPICA. I'm well aware of this. I called the video "Epica" because "Epica" is the LATIN word for "EPIC". It seemed to fit, I thought it was a catchy title, so that's what I used. But that first amazing sensation of happiness won't be reached, so addicts try each time more and more doses of drugs, but they do not feel again that good sensation or feeling of peace that make then forget their problems... That is Chasing the Dragon...

Esta es la mejor traducción que existe en español sobre esta canción. Quiero dejar bienen claro que traduje el sentido en su máxima expresión, más no tanto la forma (que es el error que han cometido los demás traductores)... Edité el video y lo traduje porque las demás traducciones de internet estaban tan malas, que mi orgullo de Licenciado en Traducción me avocó a esta labor...

El título CHASING THE DRAGON (Cazando al Dragón) se refiere a cuando un adicto anda buscando la misma sensación de paz y amor mental que sintió la primera vez que probó droga; busca esta sensación en las nuevas drogas que compra, pero no consigue ese estado tan "genial", así que cada vez comienza a consumir más, lo vende todo por conseguir droga, etc, su cuerpo se hace más resistente al narcótico, pero daña más su organismo y su cerebro... Por eso en la canción hay una línea que dice:

"The dragon is wreaking...
El dragón está causando...

havoc in my brain...
estragos en mi cerebro...".
