Russian cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev, NASA astronaut Serena Aunon-Chancellor and European Space Agency astronaut Alexander Gerst are slated to launch into space at 7:12 a.m. EDT (11:12 GMT) June 6, 2018.   The booster that will send the trio into orbit was rolled from its hangar via rail to the launch site, Gagarin’s Start, which was named after Yuri Gagarin who from that location became the first human to fly into space in April 1961.   Source: Spaceflight Insider

Memorial complex in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War on the Krasnoyarskiy Rabochiy avenue, Krasnoyarsk, Russia. The complex also includes a T-34 tank, a S-60 anti-aircraft gun, a monument to Krasnoyarsk residents who have not returned from fronts, a monument to prisoners of concentration camps and a monument to builders of the post-war peaceful life.
