Emperor Constantine built a church over a cave here in 4th century, and this has been partially reconstructed. Plaques in the cloister bear the Lord's Prayer in 62 different languages

I climbed to the top of this prominence several years ago. The photo I shot was phenominal. After I started shooting 360 panos I knew I had to return. It wasn't easy. The hike is a 1.5 mile bushwhack up 2,600'. It was still worth the view. In this pano the Big Horn Mountains can be faintly seen at 110 miles away to the ESE. Heart Mountain, near Cody, WY is prominent towards the south. Bald Peak is directly across the Clark's Fork River on the east side of the Canyon. I fell in love with the Clark's Fork Canyon in 1972 and still visit there several times every year.

Located at the public library/school in Agness, Oregon are these set of boulders that have petroglyphs on them. They are known as the Two Mile Petroglyphs & are b/w 4,000-8,000 years of age. The original site these were found was about six miles upstream along the Rogue River & were removed in 1975 to this location to protect against vandalism. It is believed these drawings were used to draw salmon and eels to the area. Etchings include cupules, zigzags, & vulvaforms. There are only eight known petroglyph sites on the west side of the Oregon Cascades.
