Petrovaradin Fortress is a fortress in the town of Petrovaradin, itself part of the City of Novi Sad, Serbia. It is located on the right bank of the Danube river. The cornerstone of the present-day southern part of the fortress was laid on 18 October 1692 by Charles Eug`ene de Cro"y. Petrovaradin Fortress has many underground tunnels as well as 16 km of uncollapsed underground countermine system.

This panorama was taken from near the top of the McCollough Peaks near Cody, Wyoming. The McCollough Peaks area is surrounded by badlands but there are plenty of high country meadows and pastures, as well. The area abounds with Pronghorn Antelope. The highest elevations even support lupine which usually takes somewhat cooler temperatures and additional moisture to proliferate.

The church fortress Ostheim is a fortified church in the Lower Franconian town of Ostheim in front of the Rh"on in the district of Rh"on-Grabfeld. The church of St. Michael is located within a between 1400 and 1450 resulting double ring wall with intermediate kennel. The double ring wall has five towers and is reinforced with six bastions halfway along the wall. The panorama was created between the stone sheds. Built in 1943, the Honeymoon Creek snow-survey cabin is a historical log cabin used for measurement of snow.  Inside is still a bed, wood stove, as well as camping supplies & maps.  In 2000, the cabin became part of the national register of historic places.
