Love Is...

, 10 2008 . 21:41 +
 (Learning_English)  (300x410, 18Kb)
Love is the greatest feeling
Love is like a play,
Love is what I feel for you,
Each and every day,
Love is like a smile,
Love is like a song,
Love is a great emotion,
That keeps us going strong,
I love you with my heart,
My body and my soul,
I love the way I keep loving,
Like a love I can't control,
So remember when your eyes meet mine,
I love you with all my heart,
And I have poured my entire soul into you,
Right from the very start.

What I Love About You

, 02 2008 . 22:07 +
 (Learning_English)
I love the way you look at me,
Your eyes so bright and blue.
I love the way you kiss me,
Your lips so soft and smooth.

I love the way you make me so happy,
And the ways you show you care.
I love the way you say, "I Love You,"
And the way you're always there.

I love the way you touch me,
Always sending chills down my spine.
I love that you are with me,
And glad that you are mine.

About illnesses...

, 04 2008 . 15:27 +
so_white (Learning_English)
For every illness
Under the sun
There is a remedy
Or there is no one.
If there is one-
Try and find it.
If there is no one-
Never mind it!

English Pronunciation!?!

, 20 2008 . 21:38 +
Rucci (Learning_English)

I
f you can pronounce correctly every word in this poem, you will be speaking English better than 90% of the native English speakers in the world. After trying the verses, a Frenchman said he'd prefer six months of hard labour to reading six lines aloud. Try them yourself.

I loved you once/ ...

:)
I loved you once

I loved you once
My love for you it may be
Within this heart of mine is still aglow.
But let it not concern you any longer,
I wouldn't have it pain you anymore.

I loved you once...
So hopesly, in silence
By shyness
 now , then jealosy beset.
My love for you has been so true, so tender
As God may grant
Another's may prove yet.

Young and Old by Charles Kingsley...

, 27 2008 . 18:48 +
Rucci (Learning_English)

Young and Old
Charles Kingsley (1819-1875)

When all the world is young, lad,
And all the trees are green;
And every goose a swan, lad,
And every lass a queen;
Then hey for boot and horse, lad,
And round the world away;
Young blood must have its course, lad,
And every dog his day.
When all the world is old, lad,
And all the trees are brown;
And all the sport is stale, lad
And all the wheels run down;
Creep home, and take you place there,
The spent and maimed among:
God grant you find one face there,
You loved when all was young.
Young blood must have its course, lad,
And every dog his day.
When all the world is old, lad,
And all the trees are brown;
And all the sport is stale, lad,
And all the wheels run down;
Creep home, and take you place there,
The spent and maimed among:
God grant you find one face there,
You loved when all was young.
