Red Blanket Falls is located in the Sky Lakes Wilderness east of Prospect, Oregon.  It is approached via a degraded trail & has three tiers, this is the lower tier that drops a good 70' over a cliff & produces a bit of mist.

Exploring the city with the bicycle during a sunny day is the best way to see a lot of nice places to eat and spend money or even capturing these areas with your pano equpment. On vacation I wear my backpack all the time so taking a photo means a break for my shoulders. At G"artnerplatz and in the surounding streets are enough restaurants and stores that you don`t have to go anywhere else but you should...

From Campocatino, in Garfagnana we took the CAI trail no. 177 to get to the Tombaccia Pass where we continue along the path between centuries-old beech trees, until we reach the top of the Tambura at 1895 meters. In the woods it seems to be in a fairy tale, perhaps somewhere fairies, gnomes and elves are hidden. You only hear the crunch of the branches that move and the sound of dry leaves moved by the passage of some insect or animal.The light that passes between the vegetation and the reflections of the sun's rays are magical.

On the way to the hermitage of San Viviano, along the CAI path no. 147 from Campocatino, , this wonderful mountain panorama opens up on the Apuan Alps. The white of the karst rock, the green of the forest and the blue of the sky are an excellent mix held together by the warm light of the August afternoon. We are in Garfagnana area, beautiful Tuscany.

The hermitage of San Viviano or Viano is a suggestive building carved into the rock overlooking the Arnetola valley,  where the hermit Viviano lived.The small sanctuary of San Viviano is now a chapel. Located a short distance from Campocatino, it dominates the Fosso della Tambura and the Arnetola Valley.Documents of a pastoral visit dating back to 1568 testify to the existence of the relics of Blessed Viviano. The popular legend of the community of sieves handed down the history and miracles of this character from Reggio Emilia.The hut was discovered by chance in 1993; inside there were probably bones of the hermit who does not know exactly when he livedThe Chapel of San Viviano is an example of spontaneous architecture, built between the crags and cliffs of the Tambura, partially excavated in the rock, a rare case of integration between the work of man and nature.We reached it along the CAI 147 path, starting from the Campocatino plain, a beautiful trek suitable for everyone even if quite tiring.

The Cathedral of San Cristoforo in Barga is a Romanesque jewel in the highest part of the center of the village which, on the outside, almost resembles a fortress. The original building dates back to before the year 1000 but was modified in the following centuries, with decorative elements ranging from Romanesque to Gothic. The panorama on the surrounding mountains in this August afternoon is beautiful. The outside square of the cathedral is embellished with this gigantic cedar of Lebanon that welcomed us under its branches giving us shadows and glimmers of sun

Pocinho is one of the connecting points between the districts of Guarda and Braganca, connecting the municipalities of Vila Nova de Foz Coa and Torre de Moncorvo. Before the construction of the dam, the crossing was made through a road-railway bridge, which is currently closed for both types of traffic. Pocinho Dam is a 49 m tall (height above foundation) and 430 m long gravity dam with a crest altitude of 139 m.Construction of the dam began in 1974. The dam was completed in 1982. It is owned by Companhia Portuguesa de Produc~ao de Electricidade
