The strongest hurricane Irma will remain in history for a long time. Now he rages on the islands of the Caribbean Sea and quickly moves west-northwest. Forecasters are sounding the alarm - in the coming days Irma will become even stronger and more terrible.

On one of the islands, Barbuda, 95% of all buildings were destroyed, people suffered.

Puerto Rico and Florida have already declared a state of emergency. Already, the speed at the epicenter of the vortex exceeds 300 kilometers per hour, which makes it the strongest in the history of hurricane surveillance.

Up to the coastal Key West Irma there are only 2,5 thousand kilometers. Most likely, the hurricane will cover Florida on Friday and it will be a real catastrophe.

Meteorologists have assigned the fifth category of danger to the hurricane - there is no longer a Sapphire-Simpson scale. True, it is now considered an opportunity to introduce the next, sixth category specifically for Irma.

In order to understand the seriousness of the situation, on the Sapphire-Simpson scale, the fifth category is called "catastrophic".
