"On the eve of the coming New Year, I congratulate President Vladimir Putin on excellent relations between our countries and wish all Russians a happy New Year," the message says .
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent Novy god greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin:
"Ahead of the civil new year, I congratulate President Putin on the excellent relations between Israel and Russia and wish all citizens of Russia a good civil year, snovim godem!"
Earlier, Putin congratulated Netanyahu and said he looked forward to continuing work to strengthen bilateral cooperation. He also stressed that the Russian-Israeli relations are friendly and constructive.
