The best part is, standing on it, they don't peek out above the ledge at all - they're that tiny in size!
Species: Short-Eared Sengi or Elephant Shrew (Slurfspitsmuis)
Latin name: Macroscelides Proboscideus
Originates from South Africa.
Current status: Least Concern

A small squadron of Volus Accipiter class frigates.
Originally built by the Turians as a small Corvette size warship to patrol around space station perimeters.
As a client race of the Turian Hierarchy, the Volus got the blueprint of the Accipiter class and build a dozen of them by themself with different modifications such as additional weapon turrets and a much more automatization to run the ship with a smaller crew and to compensate the weaker Volus physis. The Volus classificate the Accipiter as frigate type.
Not all, but some of the Accipiter classes were equiped with Stealth systems for Spec-Ops Missions.
In many ways, Accipiter corvettes existed just to have a ship or two (or ten) available; being smaller and more lightly armed meant that they were cheaper and faster to construct as bigger ships like Frigates or Cruisers. More ships means one can control a larger area of space or act quicker in a emergency case.

The crackling fires woke me up. The clear river of jade beckons, it's water flows through the icy surfaces crated by the recent storm. The serene feel of the morning forest that has yet to be disturbed. The peace it created forms a field near my campsite like a mother's embrace. The kettle, filled with tea is set above the flames to boil. It brought up the little critters that surrounds the camp. The tent almost crumbled from the unforgiving wind. Hardships passed and endured, maybe many more will come. Maybe the next will coat everything in it's sight with snow. Does it matter?
Absolutely not, it's time to fish.

I hope you enjoy the painting along with a little bit of story that goes along with them.
Bringing you another snowy art for winter mood
it's honestly a pretty simple piece that i do just to relax, the life of a wanderer sure isn't easy. Things have been going ups and down as of late, i think i might have a little bit of fever in the middle of painting due to the fluctuation of temperatures near me. I try to take it easy with the painting so overall i hope you enjoy it!
