Close to Margaret Bridge at the southern end of the island there is a cool spot to hide from the sun on a hot summer day. Here you can listen to music every now and then, and watch the fountain dancing along to the music.

Margaret island is a very green and mostly quiet place with differently themed areas that you can explore either by foot or by bike - rental stations are all over the island and they also have funny quadracycles. At this part of the island you can enjoy a nice japanese garden that you would'nt expect in the middle of an island in the middle of the Danube.

The superb ski area of Grandvalira is the largest skiable domain in the Pyrenees and southern Europe, since expanding slightly in 2011, and again in 2012, it now offers 210km of linked runs on one lift pass. Grandvalira encompasses six resorts in total, stretching from Pas de la Casa which sits on the French border, right across to Encamp which is just a few kilometres outside the capital Andorra la Vella, along the way you will encounter the sectors of Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter and Canillo resulting in a vast domain encompassing much of the north and east of the country.

NASA's Mars Exploration Program (Image credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS) Sol 2711: Full Drill Ahead! The images for panorama obtained by the rover's 34-millimeter Mast Camera. The mosaic, which stretches about 30,000 pixels width, includes 122 images taken on Sol 2711 (March 22, 2020). We have science block in the early morning of Sol 2711, during which we’ll perform a similar suite of environmental observations as well as a Mastcam 360-degree mosaic. These hefty mosaics are especially useful during our drill campaigns, as they provide great context for our drilling operations and the broader geology around us. The rest of Sol 2711 will be dedicated to drilling the target “Edinburgh.” Following a much-deserved night of sleep, Curiosity will wake up on Sol 2712 for the last science block of the weekend plan. During the science block, we’ll take dust devil survey and line-of-sight images with Navcam. Next, we’ll use ChemCam’s passive mode (no laser) to observe the Edinburgh drill tailings as well as use the RMI to take a long-distance mosaic of the target “Three Lochs,” an area further up the Greenheugh pediment. We’ll round out the plan by using Mastcam to take a multispectral observation of the Edinburgh drill tailings and take a stereo mosaic to expand our coverage of the “Hilltop” area, first imaged on Sol 2705. We managed to plan a very full weekend plan for Curiosity, and had a very smooth day of planning for Curiosity’s operations team. It’s full steam (or rather, drill) ahead! Stay safe, and continue to explore Mars with us! There are a lot of things that always catch your eye in Cuba. For example, many cities have a central square with a small park. Next to it there is of course the church. All this is lined by colourful houses in colonial style. American oldtimers, here a Chevrolet DelRay which was only produced in 1958, you will meet again and again. In all colors. Rarely in grey, black or white. If, then often two-colored. Beautifully dressed up oldtimers are mostly taxis for tourists. Locals rather use the bicycle taxi. Mostly it is a tricycle with a bench in second row, a roof for sun protection and a luggage rack above the handlebars. On it you can immortalize your admiration for Che Guevara, which is widespread all over the country. If you own a bike yourself, you will of course ride it. Gladly also in twos, whereby for smaller children a seat is made of wood. If this is to be made for a folding bicycle without a central bar, this is simply added by a wooden longitudinal bar to attach the child seat. The clothes of the Cuban women are also colourful. Occasionally shrill, but often enough not really tasteful. Leggings! They are worn everywhere, no matter if toddlers or great-grandmothers, beanpole or sumo wrestler! Maybe this is an expression of freedom, because as a schoolgirl you wear uniform: white blouse, black skirt, white knee socks. Boys also wear a uniform of white shirt and dark trousers. But outside school they prefer shorts to leggings - thank God!
