The valley of Erdemli houses the remains of a Byzantine settlement from the 9th to 13th centuries. In addition to the so-called Saray Manastiri (palace monastery) with its richly structured facade, large cave church and various economic areas in the valley floor, there are hundreds of caves on the slopes. Some churches and even a mosque hide in them. The Eustathios church was probably the most beautifully furnished. Unfortunately its colourful frescoes hide behind layers of soot of different thicknesses, so that only after intensive digital processing do they reveal their original splendour. Buran was the first spaceplane to be produced as part of the Soviet/Russian Buran programme. It is also known as "Shuttle 1.01". Besides describing the first operational Soviet/Russian shuttle orbiter, "Buran" was also the designation for the whole Soviet/Russian spaceplane project and its orbiters, which were known as "Buran-class spaceplanes". Buran completed one unmanned spaceflight in 1988, and was destroyed in 2002 when the hangar it was stored in collapsed. It remains the only Soviet reusable spacecraft to be launched into space. The Buran-class orbiters used the expendable Energia rocket, a class of super heavy-lift launch vehicle. Source: Wikipedia

This spomenik complex at Drazgose, Slovenia, in the Gorenjska region, commemorates the efforts of the Cankarjev Battalion at the 1942 Battle of Drazgose, where Partisans fought a snowy winter against Germans, while also attempting to protect local peasants from deportation.

The inlet of camping Rea faces the big and famous for its beaches Diaporos island on the Ionian sea. The camping is small and cosy with natural shaddows for tourists. The former provides a small show and a restaurant.
