Ok Folks panic over.... Philipp called me today & explained that when he was very young...10 years before we met... he'd said he'd written the song just to get a great Russian Lyricist to translate the lyric for him..in the clip you can tell he's embarrassed as the guy... with the mustache.. told the audience... He was mortified & has apologized to me for his youthful nievety... & proved that on every Album I get a writers credit...I did think it was strange as he openly told everyone I'd written the song while we were visiting him in Russia...Philipp's coming to London in January so we can catch up & sort thing out...
This song is very special to both of us & I kind of understand that in his young & foolish days he fought to get the best translation for it....

We are all here fans of Philipp Kirkorov coming from all over the world and now we are just shocked at the current situation! Before our eyes russian tabloids and yellow press are trying to mount a big campaign with the only one intention: to discredit Philipp short before his huge anniversary Tour starts. They act very unscrupulous and disdain nothing to drag international public, celebrities and celebrated musicians into this campaign. We all know, that Philipp always told about Julie Forsyth with great respect. nd he always and everythere called her name as the name of the Author of the great song "Go", which Philipp introduced in Russia, as the borders of this country were almost completely closed for overseas music. Philipp invited Julie to his concerts in Russia, and thanked for being the author of this beautiful song "Go", called in russian version " " ( songtext by Igor Nikolaev). Now russian tabloids are lying, that Philipp calls himself an author of this song, despite the fact, that Julie is called as an author of "Go" on all ressources and official carriers (CDs and so on) producted by Philipp and even on Wikipedia. Please, don't let Julie to be dragged in this unbeautiful story! Let's share TRUE informations everythere we can and make people all over the world hear and read TRUTH, not lie. If you have any posiibility, share true informations between Julie's fans. Don't let two talented and respecting each other people to be brougth into a quarrel by unscrupulous media.
