Kanye West's legal team wants to officially say they're finished representing the rapper in a lawsuit -- and they're planning on doing so in a very public way.

According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Greenberg Traurig, LLP claims there's been "a breakdown in communication" with Kanye, as they attempt to let him know they're off of the case. They say Ye apparently deactivated the phone number they previously used to get in touch with him.

As a result, the docs say the company's looking to use "alternative means" to reach him ... which includes putting ads out in 2 L.A.-based newspapers, and publishing the order from the judge, which allows them to withdraw from the case, for all to see.

The docs say the goal is to inform the rapper about the order -- and seeing as he's incommunicado, this is the best option left to give him notice. The firm says it's aware the publication would "likely garner significant media attention, resulting in broader publication.

- The new series was announced last year, and Downey said in a statement at the time that his intent is "to showcase that it’s possible to keep the integrity of classic cars while leveraging new tech and innovation to make them more eco-friendly."

• Scott Pilgrim, Baby Driver and Last Night in Soho director Edgar Wright made waves this weekend when the commercial he directed for McDonald's hit the internet.

• The commercial features office building employees expressing a desire to go on a McDonald's run by arching their eyebrows in sync to the song "Oh Yeah" by Yello and marching out of the building. The commercial is completely dialogue-less, and doesn't feature the traditional McDonald's jingle.

• For whatever reason this commercial went semi-viral with some people lamenting the fact that Wright was reduced to directing a commercial. Apparently everyone missed the Nike commercial he made that featured Sadie Sink, Bill Nye, Simone Biles and Kobe Bryant in 2018. And the Square Space Super Bowl commercial he made with Zendaya and Andr'e 3000 just last year.

SZA reigns for another week on the Billboard 200 with her second studio album ‘S.O.S.’

Extending its spell at #1 to five weeks, the LP sold another 125,000 equivalent units for the second consecutive week on the coveted count.

Boasting hits such as ‘Kill Bill,’ ‘Good Days,’ and ‘I Hate U,’ the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Ctrl’ continues to make history. For, ‘S.O.S’ becomes the first R&B album by a female artist to spend its first five weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 this century (since Janet Jackson‘s ‘janet.’ in 1993).

The news arrives in the same week the TDE songbird hatched the video for ‘Bill.’ It also comes as that track challenges for #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

SM Entertainment super girl group GOT the beat have released their debut mini album, Stamp on It, along with the music video for its eponymous title track, first performed at SMTown Live 2022 on New Year's Day.

The group, which debuted last January with the controversial "Step Back," is comprised of SM soloist BoA and members of groups Girls' Generation, Red Velvet and aespa.

Caitlin took up pottery during the pandemic and learned from her father who is a ceramicist. Her pottery is modern and contemporary, with a fusion of her Dad's retro-inspired style and her mum's Chinese heritage. She likes to bring a bit of cheekiness into her ceramics, making 'boob' mugs and decoration that reflects her light-hearted personality.

Official Higedandism continues to be super poplular and has put out a new song for the new year, White Noise

It's the theme song for the Tokyo Revengers anime

Last year in these posts I wrote a bit about some audition shows, one was the IconZ girls show which was collab between LDH and Hybe Japan. In a twist the girls who didn't win formed a (trainee?) group, CDL ∞ and released a song called CRASH & BURN.

As for the winners they're still in Korea training which has unfortunately proven too difficult for two of the girls who've decided to quit. Good thing they picked even girls instead of the original five because now they're back down to five again.

I also wrote a bit about &Audition. The group from that, &TEAM debuted with a couple of songs last month including Under the Skin


New this year, SKY-HI who brought us BE:FIRST in 2021 decided to create a new boy band MAZZEL

This isn't really an audition show, more like a making of the band type thing but I think it's great that subtitles are included and I'm interested because I love one of the members so I think it's worth paying attention to!

Sticking with the boy band theme this was the selling top single on Billboard and the Oricon chart last week: AXXIS- ResQ

Sometimes you realize JUST how many idol groups there are in Japan and you feel kind of crazy because there are A LOT.

The winning group of IconZ ~Dreams for Children~ (not to be confused with IconZ girls) was Lil' League. I mocked it a bit at first because one thing LDH does not need is another boy group but they're doing pretty well and will probably have the top single this week, Hunter.


NOA- Just Feel It feat Ayumu Imazu

I feel like I've posted about NOA before but he was formerly a YG trainee but left and has been trying to make it as a soloist in Japan since. Imazu Ayumu is also up and coming.

ONE LOVE ONE HEART is releasing an album on January 25th! This is their new song for it Glory Dayz

They're not relevent but they're my favorites and no one is reading this far down so I had to include them anyway.

In an interview with Empire Online, James Gunn discussed the casting of Will Poulter as Adam Warlock and why he didn't choose to hire an actor such as Tom Cruise

He noted that he "wanted the person who had dramatic chops and comedic chops:"

“People online were saying, ‘Oh, Tom Cruise should be Adam Warlock... I wanted somebody who was youthful, and I wanted the person who had the dramatic chops and the comedic chops, not only for this movie but for what Marvel will use Adam Warlock for in the future... He could become this really important character."
