A follow-up movie based on Nickelodeon’s popular live-action series Zoey 101 is in the works for premiere on Paramount+. Nickelodeon announced today it has begun production on "Zoey 102".

The movie follows Pacific Coast Academy alumni as they reunite for a wedding in the present day. Production is underway in North Carolina, with a premiere slated for later this year exclusively on Paramount+.

Jamie Lynn Spears returns to reprise her role as Zoey Brooks and will executive produce. Original series cast members also returning to reprise their roles are Erin Sanders (Quinn Pensky), Sean Flynn (Chase Matthews), Matthew Underwood (Logan Reese), Christopher Massey (Michael Barret), Abby Wilde (Stacey Dillsen) and Jack Salvatore (Mark Del Figgalo).

-The first two episodes of Velma have officially premiered today on HBO Max.

-It is an edgy, adult take on the origins of Velma and her connection to the Scoobyless Gang.

-The first two episodes have plenty of adult language, blood, and semi nudity.

-It hits on plenty of stereotypes full on.

-The classic Scooby-Doo phrases have been turned into drugs.

-Daphne is an adopted mean girl, Shaggy is nice and has a major crush on Velma, Fred is the pure definition of an adult baby, and Velma is the unpopular girl, poor girl who has a crush on Daphne/Fred and has no issue throwing sharp jabs at anyone.

Lisa Marie Presley has been rushed to a hospital after going into full cardiac arrest. A source says someone administered epinephrine at the scene at least one time in order to help get Presley regain a pulse, as well as CPR.

It's unclear what her condition is currently, but she had a pulse before being taken to the hospital.

Lisa Marie was just at the Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday.

After Vasquez appeared on the Today show on Monday, a journalist filed a written complaint to management raising concerns about the decision to hire her as an analyst, which was widely circulated inside the newsroom, two NBC News employees said.

Some journalists said they felt that the hiring discounted NBC’s own reporting. During the trial, fans took particular issue with NBC News reporter Kat Tenbarge, circulating an online petition to get her fired over her critical reporting and analysis of the case.

A lot of NBC journalists are also sympathetic to Amber.

Ironically, NBC produced a documentary last year that concluded that the success of D3pp’s legal team was a setback for survivors of harassment and abuse.

Although House Party is the only new major studio release of the weekend, there is no shortage of indie films coming out. This means that Avatar: TWoW and M3gan will likely continue their January box office domination, but it gives viewers more choices in select theaters and at home.

As General Hospital closes in on its 60th anniversary, the long-running ABC sudser has all kinds of plans. It was announced on Wednesday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that GH will kick off its anniversary programming at the end of March with a special episode honoring the late Sonya Eddy, who had played head nurse Epiphany Johnson on the series from 2006 until her passing this December.

Then, during the week of April 3, GH will bring back the beloved Nurses Ball, a (fictional) charity gala dedicated to HIV/AIDS awareness.

It was also teased at the TCA press tour that following the Nurses Ball, “icons of Port Charles unite to stop a legendary threat from the past,” and that (perhaps relatedly?) series vet/Daytime Emmy winner Jane Elliot is set to reprise her role as the legendary Tracy Quartermaine sometime in April.

To recap GH‘s infamous campus disco rape from October 1979: Luke Spencer (played by Anthony Geary) loved Laura Baldwin. But Laura was married to Scotty (Kin Shriner). Luke feared his mob ties were catching up to him, and he’d be dead inside of a month. And one night, as Laura waited for a ride home from her job at the campus disco, a despondent Luke lured Laura into a dance… and then he raped her (as Herb Alpert’s “Rise” blared through the room). The problematic storyline steered Luke and Laura into supercouple status (and in doing so reversed the lagging ABC sudser’s fortunes), and would not be revisited/retconned on-screen until 1998.

“You know, as a young kid at 17, I was told to play rape, and I played it,” Francis explained during the TCA panel. “I didn’t even know what it was. But, at 17, you follow the rules, and you do as you are told, and you aim to please.”

Now, decades later, “At 60, I don’t feel the need to defend that anymore,” the Daytime Emmy winner very firmly stated. “I think that the story was inappropriate, and I don’t condone it. And it’s been a burden that I’ve had to carry to try to justify that story, and so I’m not doing that anymore.

Mariah Carey is filing for primary custody of her 11-year-old twin children with Nick Cannon, the first two of his now 12 offspring with six different mothers. A source tells Radar that the twins are almost always with Mariah and Nick "struggles" to see them.

“She wants to put him on notice that he can’t just flit in and out of their lives while he attends to his other children,” the source shared. “And she wants legal standing as the twins’ primary caregiver.”

Nick himself recently admitted, “I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children. One, ’cause I’m constantly working, and two, because I’m just spread thin.”

During CNN’s NYE show, Andy Cohen asked Cannon whether he was planning to go for 20 kids, he replied, “Clearly, I don’t have a plan. That should’ve been clear from the jump.” Later asked whether he would get a vastectomy, Cannon asserted, "My body, my choice!"
