Bono's daughter, Eve Hewson (31), is apparently an actress who can currently be seen on Apple TV's Bad Sisters. She has reacted to NY Mag's infamous nepo baby article through a series of tweets and instagram comments, in a completely normal and unbothered way.



First, she tried to joke about it:

Luckily for her, NY Mag did feature her, noting that in 2013, she teamed up with Jack Quaid (another nepo baby) to try to raise funds for an indie film. "We are the new generation of filmmakers," they wrote in a letter. "We are young. We are passionate. And we are ready to make a difference in the world of cinema."

Unfortunately, the joking didn't last long, and she turned to instagram instead, where her comments took on a more wounded tone. In the comment section of NY Mag's instagram post, she commented:

And lamented that it's not her fault she was born to privilege, it's the world's fault for elevating her privilege:



But she didn't stop there! She then commented that it's a good thing Carrie Fisher never read this article!



And then sniffed that we should be grateful some nepo babies such as herself choose to contribute to the world of art rather than living off their parents:



She ended by one last furious comment at NY Mag, calling them hypocrites and bullies and they should be so lucky if Lily Rose Depp even deigned to appear on the cover of their magazine.

Back in October, it was reported that Alexander O'Connor, who performs under the name Rex Orange County, had been charged with six counts of sexual assault for a June assault on a woman in London.

Today, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter announced that all charges have been dropped.

In a message posted to his official Instagram page, O'Connor claimed that The Crown Prosecution Service "decided that there [was] no merit in [his] case going to trial" upon reviewing independent evidence, including CCTV footage that contradicted his accuser's version of events. A statement given to police by the accuser's then-partner was also at odds with the former's claims.

"I have never assaulted anyone and do not condone violence or abusive behavior of any kind," O'Connor wrote. "It's been a difficult time for everyone involved and I'd like to thank the people who have helped me through it as well as my family and loved ones for their continued support."

O’Shea Jackson Jr. made his film debut portraying his father in the drama “Straight Outta Compton”
He was “already in college for screenwriting at USC” when the project got the green light.
In a series of tweets, Jackson Jr., 31, explained his dad’s dream.

“I accepted the challenge. And auditioned for two years before getting the role. After that it was up to me, [my father] couldn’t hold my hand through my career. I had to get my ass up and make it work. From the roles I chose. The work ethic I put into them. My professionalism on sets and promo tours. Even leaving HIS agency and going to find a team of my own. Once the door was opened it was up to me to walk through it and thrive.”

Jackson Jr. noted that “NONE” of the aforementioned would have been possible “without the love of [his] father” and “the work [Ice Cube] put in to get [his children] to a place of opportunity.

Nepotism has “been happening for centuries” and he feels it should be looked at as an opportunity to build an “empire,” not “a shadow for you to get out of.”

Mariah Carey was joined by 11-year-old daughter Monroe at her Christmas show at Madison Square Garden. The two sang "Away in a Manger" in matching white dresses and glittering head pieces.

The televised performance, Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All! was the No. 1 broadcast on Tuesday night, with 1.1 million more viewers than its closest competitor in the time period.

It's not the first time Carey has featured her twins in her holiday ouevre. Most recently, Monroe and brother Moroccan joined her Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade performance.

Earlier this month, Carey said she's excited about the twins' musical interests, but she's "not a stage mom" and recognizes their privilege compared to "their other friends—many of which are aspiring singers or dancers who weren't born into the entertainment world. I think it's important that they learn these lessons because I grew up without that privilege and they need to understand that it is so important to try your hardest and do your best."

Lottie Moss did not mince words in sharing how she feels about nepotism in Hollywood.

"I'm so sick of people blaming nepotism for why they aren't rich and famous or successful. -Back in August, Charlbi Dean has been pronounced dead at 32, shocking many after being declared a rising star to look out for after the success of Triangle of Sadness.

-at the time it had been said it was sudden and due to a brief illness but no specific cause was named.

-As determined by a New York City Medical Examiner, the official cause of death was bacterial sepsis.

The sepsis "was a complication from asplenia (the absence of a spleen) due to "remote blunt trauma to her torso," the spokesperson tells PEOPLE.

Her bacterial sepsis was caused after she was infected with a bacteria known as Capnocytophaga. While the infection is rare, there are different species of Capnocytophaga that develop in the mouths of humans and which are also present in the mouths of dogs and cats, according to the CDC. People with autoimmune issues and without spleens are particularly susceptible.


It's not known if a animal bite or lick was responsible for the infection as the full autopsy has not been made public.

Backstory: Charlbi had been involved in a very bad car accident 13 years prior, which involved removing her spleen, while also suffering broken ribs and a broken back according to her brother.

It's been noted that the removal of the spleen possibly contributed to her death as the spleen is involved in fighting off infections.

Movie studios can be sued under false advertising laws if they release deceptive movie trailers, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday.

Two Ana de Armas fans filed a lawsuit in January, alleging that they had rented the movie 'Yesterday' after seeing de Armas in the trailer, only to discover that she was cut out of the final film.

The district judge declared that a trailer is commercial speech and is subject to the California False Adverting Law and the state’s Unfair Competition Law.
