Armie Hammer on white privilege in Hollywood: “There are white people who exercise their white privilege with or without knowing it and I would be foolish to sit here and say, ‘Well, that has nothing to do with my career.’ I can’t sit here and say that. But also, people must be aware of the work ethic it takes. I get it. Guys like me have got a lot from being guys like me. Even if white privilege does have anything to do with it, there is a lot of work I put into this.”

Armie Hammer on his fellow millennials: “I am a millennial. You’re right. I totally should. And I can’t say I am not a millennial, but I’m not a millennial. I don’t get it. It doesn’t resonate with me. I don’t know why millennials will go to a wedding and take a picture of themselves on the dance floor and then post it on social media and be like, ‘Congratulations to Sarah and Jeff, so happy for you guys!’ Just what the hell is that? That just doesn’t make any sense to me.”

Fyre Festival’s Adam King is getting his own reality tv show about event planning

Adam King, the MVP from the wildly popular Netflix documentary Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened is getting his own show. King went viral after telling the story about how Fyre Festival founder, Billy McFarland, who in short basically asked King to trade sexual favors to ensure the delivery of the music festival’s Evian water.

King tells Vanity Fair that he has received a number of offers following his new fame from his documentary role. Three water companies and three TV networks have reached out to him with potential offers.

“I can’t talk about it too much, but they’re essentially like, ‘Listen, we’re working on a new ad campaign,’” King said of the water company offers. “I had three TV show offers this week, from notable networks...Let’s just say it’s going to be a show about hosting crazy events, what it takes to make them happen. There will be cliffhangers, and you’ll get to follow me around and see how I pull them off.”

Andy however made it clear he has no plans to use his new found celebrity to push and promote products he has no business promoting. He says, “You’re not going to see me launching a handbag line or makeup. I think I’m being given a platform that a lot of people, at age 58 especially, don’t get the opportunity to have. And I’m kind of excited about it.”

In other related news, FuckJerry’s (producers of the documentary) Instagram account is down from 14.3 million to 14 million. A small dent in followers, but it’s a start.

Hayden Panettiere has allegedly taken time apart from her 4-year-old daughter, Kaya, since splitting with fianc'e Wladimir Klitschko, 42, in August 2018.

Us Weekly reports Hayden's daughter moved with her ex-fianc'e to Ukraine, where he's raising the child with the help of his mother. The magazine reports, "Hayden knows the child being with her is not best for Kaya right now."

The 29-year-old actress is currently focusing on her new relationship with Brian Hickerson, which had her friends concerned after Hayden reportedly witnessed a domestic altercation between Brian and his father in Greenville, South Carolina back in November.

In a statement released to media, Hayden's new beau says, "Just to be clear, Hayden’s friends and family are not worried about her at all."

Lupita Nyong'o got stressed reading the script for 'US', new poster

In a new interview with Totalfilm, Lupita talked about reading the script and how it's a new kind of nightmare.

"The script was totally surprising, Nyong'o said to Totalfilm. "I knew it would be something special because Jordan had written it, but it was nothing like Get Out. The storyline was so intriguing. It was a totally new kind of nightmare – and a nightmare it was. I was very stressed-out reading it. I read it in one sitting and I just remember being terrified. So yeah, I was all in."

Lupita plays the matriarch, Adelaide Wilson, (opposite Winston Duke) and her doppelganger who seems to have an affinity for scissors. Jordan Peele compares US to Get Out.

"The underlying theme I’m going with is that we are our own worst enemy, and the doppelganger is about the monster within,” Jordan Peele says to Totalfilm. "I think of Get Out as being my Frankenstein and this is my tribute to Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde."

  • Because this year's Oscars aren't embarrassing enough already, the Academy has backtracked on their decision to not invite last year's winning actors to present awards at this year's ceremony (ONTD post here), and now all four winning actors will be presenting.

  • Janney had posted to Instagram that she was heartbroken they weren't planning on continuing the tradition of having the previous year's winners present the award to the new winners, but she has since deleted the post.

  • As word spread, several prominent Academy members said if the tradition of last year's winners presenting wasn't continued, there would be a backlash.

  • The Oscars have decided to pair the performers up to present, with Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell presenting an award together, and Allison Janney and Gary Oldman presenting an award together.

"People walk around sometimes with rage, that's what happens. Is he a bigot? No. I've known him a pretty long time, I think I would have recognized. I've been around a lot of real bigots. I can say this man is not one."

Directed by Academy Award nominee Amy Berg, The Case Against Adnan Syed will explore the 1999 disappearance and murder of 18-year-old Baltimore County high school student Hae Min Lee, and the subsequent conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed, a case brought to global attention by the hugely popular Serial podcast.

In production since 2015, The Case Against Adnan Syed closely re-examines the events leading up to Hae Min Lee’s disappearance, from high school romance, forbidden love and cultural conflict, to the aftermath of her disappearance, the original police investigation and the present day, when Syed awaits a new trial.

The filmmakers were allowed complete access to Adnan's family, as well as friends and investigators.

The Case Against Adnan Syed will air March 2019 on HBO.
