1. Andreyev is an attentive observer who keeps a keen eye open for the various changing states of nature. « The world is beautiful! » says the artist. « Look around you! Every moment is filled with the happiness of being! » This awareness is derived from his exaltation of life and transferred into his work.

2. Andreyev is attracted by every display of life that has undergone a classical esthetic filtration. This attraction, however, is not to the objects themselves, but to the relations between them, and this is what creates the mood. In his feelings he is also a romantic, who, even if not creating a new, wonderful reality, strives to depict the unity of man and his surrounding world. His canvases are, therefore, both realistically simple and 'earnest' and it is for this reason that many visitors, eager to buy his works, are drawn to his exhibitions.

3. Consequently, the number of Andreyev exhibitions' list is impressively large, and not only in Ukraine, but also in Canada, Europe, and America. And although they may not be famous, they still have their fair devotes. Art in the 20th century, despite being extremely experimental in nature, still preserves those forms and genres that, having passed the test of time, remain full of vitality. Andreyev's canvases, as a testimony to this, are an escape from the over-informative modern world into the domain of simple and eternal.
