Fans all around the country were heartbroken, but recently came the news that they were playing a gig in Moscow after all. Granted, they're performing on the 22nd rather than the 23rd, and not at В1 but at the Moscow Youth Palace, but who cares about the details?
Jethro Tull are an English progressive rock band formed in 1967. Many things set them apart: their lead singer Ian Anderson (boasting a relatively unusual vocal style) plays the flute, offering solos in many of their songs; their lyrics are ambiguous in meaning, and have a certain soft, almost hippy twinge to them. Their overall soundis that of mellow wistful-ness, so while heavier instruments like electric guitars are fre­quently featured, they mostly rely on an organic, acoustic sound.
