I can imagine how wonderful it would be
to share Christmas with you.
I would love to take in the lights with you,
as we decorate the tree.
And afterward we'd snuggle before the fire
on a magical Christmas eve,
our hearts overflowing with love and desire.
Just holding you close to me
would be the greatest gift I could ever receive.
At last Christmas would be all it was meant to be.
Despite bellowing winds outside and mounds of sparkling snow
the holiday spirit within would grow,
for we'd keep each other warm through the night,
souls alive from true love's light.
