‘Goodbyes hurt the most when the story was not finished'

After seeing the original photo in this inspiring group, ‘Memories’ by Oliver Luckert, I was planning on editing a similar photo with my oldest dog, now he is still able to.

Unfortunately, I had to let go my youngest dog a few days ago, due to complications after several knee surgeries. Destiny decided it wasn't my senior's, but my junior's time to make a memorial photo with. Emotionally the most challenging picture I ever took, a few hours before our goodbyes.

Credits and special thanks to Oliver Luckert for sharing the original photo a few months ago. It inspired me, helped me deal with and express my own emotions, and ended my collection of thousands of photos with the most touching picture. An image to hold on to, for the rest of my life.
