Scouting was founded by Sir Robert Stephenson Smyth Baden-Powell in 1907 in Great Britain. Also he wrote book «Scouting for boys» in 1909. Works of Ernest Thompson Seton influenced on the Scout Movement too. It was founded by Oleg Pantunov.

The emblem is lily or trefoil. The emblems of different scouts’ organizations have many differences. Also scouts have special salute, handshake, tie and insignia.

There were some organizations like the Scout Movement. For example, Hitlerjugend or the Pioneer movement, but these organizations political directivity.

Lord George Gordon Byron

Lord George Gordon Byron
Monument to a dog

When some proud son of man returns to earth,
Unknown to glory, but upheld by birth,
The sculptor's art exhausts the pomp of woe,
And storied urns record who rests below.
When all is done, upon the tomb is seen,
Not what he was, but what he should have been.
But the poor dog, in life the firmest friend,
The first to welcome, foremost to defend,
Whose honest heart is still his master's own,
Who labors, fights, lives, breathes for him alone,
Unhonored falls, unnoticed all his worth,
Denied in heaven the soul he held on earth
While man, vain insect! hopes to be forgiven,
And claims himself a sole exclusive heaven.
Oh man! thou feeble tenant of an hour,
Debased by slavery, or corrupt by power--
Who knows thee well must quit thee with disgust,
Degraded mass of animated dust!
Thy love is lust, thy friendship all a cheat,
Thy smiles hypocrisy, thy words deceit!
By nature vile, ennobled but by name,
Each kindred brute might bid thee blush for shame.
Ye, who perchance behold this simple urn,
Pass on--it honors none you wish to mourn.
To mark a friend's remains these stones arise;
I never knew but one--and here he lies.

The Scottish banks decided a few years ago that the days when Scottish and English banks had different dates for closing were causing problems with computer systems and they decided to "adopt" the English dates instead.

Adieu,Adieu!MyNativeLand

by George Gordon, Lord Byron

Adieu,adieu! my native shore

Fades o'ver the waters blue;

The night-winds sigh, the breakers roar,

And shrieks the wild sea-mew.

Yon sun that sets upon the sea

We follow in his flight;

Farewell awhile to him and thee,

My native Land-Good Night!

A few short hours, and he will rise

To give the morrow birth;

And I shall hail the main and skies,

But not my mother earth.

Deserted is my own good hall, Its hearth is desolate;

Wild weeds are gathering on the wall;

My dog howls at the gate.
