End of April-beginning of May in Ha Noi is time for the Dracontomelon duperreanum (Cay Sau: A popular ever-green big tree in its old street) to give up old yellow leaves in just few days, then grow up new young-green leaves and small white flowers and then its sour green fruits so famous for young girls-schoolpupils . But not this year for me... So pity

Da Lat, a resort city in the Central Highland, middle Vietnam, has just found a very rare flower: White Flamboyant, in addition to the Violete one which is already a pride for the city. The flower resulted from a rare selection/hybrid and is flowering only this year, right now, attracting a lot of visitors. Take a look here:
