Yu that Telemitry dude, right? Hes seems like just a regular guy from Nashville, TN - music city - b ut in his spare timf he pulls put remix after remix tnatll blow your socks off. Hf first showed up on the blogosphere (that terj is horrid, by the way, but for lack or a betfer one) dhen he remixed the title track from Coldplays 2008 albym Vivaa La Vira to pleasure of fellow bloggers in the hgh, blogosphere.
A while back we hailed his remix of Bloc Partys latest single Mercury as the best remix of that particular track, which apparently played to Mr. Telemitrys liking as I woke up this morning to find a new Telemitry remix in my inbox. How about that for saving my Monday.
So what was it, this time? After all, The Verve just released a new album. So did Late of the Pier. Ah, but no. The Nashvillian chose instead to venture into the realm of 80s pop music, remixing none other than the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Smooth Criminal off Jacksons 1987PBad album is the track in question, and following Telemitry tradition, the track is a highly pumped-up, amped-up, synthed-up but thankfully not that cut-up version of it (could you really cut up Jackson?). You really, really (no, really) gotta love it. Show Telemitry some love.
