TOEFL score

Yesterday I also got to know my TOEFL test results. They were quite saisfactory, as I got the necessary minimum of 250 out of total 300.
The results are:

Listening 21

Structure/Writing 27

Reading 29

Essay score 5.0

Total score 257

Good stuff then. I was nearly going to jump when I opened the envelope. Because during the entire week before the test I was repeating to myself that I would get above 250 points. And despite my bad Listening score, I got what I wanted to get... So I am pleased.

Very, very nice score. Do you have any particular universities in mind? Or did you take Toefl just for fun?)))

Of course, I have some plans about where to go using this score. To take this test just for fun sounds a little bit expensive, as one pays not only for the very test, but also for the preparation...

It does not seem that you were in the need of the preparation. Your style of writing is employed by only a small number of native speakers, making it very impressive on paper))) Is your knowledge of English a pure outcome from studying or have you gone abroad to study the language? By the way, are you planning to take GRE?

Oh yes, I have been to GB for summer courses twice. Yes, I am planning to take GRE, but I do not have much information about that test yet.

I spent very much time on my preparation, as each exam requires abilities to fulfill certain number of tasks.

This all has restored my proficiency and accuracy, which were temporarily lost during several years of no practice... :)

What subject fro GRE fits the best for you?
BTW, you have a very interesting diary. Хотела поставить симпатию, но как новичок не могу((( Ну считай, что у тебя ещё одна уже почти в кармане)))

Такая_Юлёна, it is more likely to be Mathematics, but bad stuff if I am to pass the common GRE test...
