DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE (80 cm) SIZE 4 mm - or size needed to get 21 sts x 28 rows in stocking st = 10 x 10 cm.
ELASTIC: approx. 66-110 cm GARTER ST (worked in the round):
* K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*. 1 ridge = 2 rounds.
PATTERN:
See diagrams A.1-A.5. The diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from RS.
EYELET ROW:
ROUND 1: K all sts.
ROUND 2: P all sts.
ROUND 3: * 1 YO, K 2 tog *, repeat from *-* the entire round.
ROUND 4: K all sts.
ROUND 5: P all sts.
ROUND 6-7: K all sts.
DECREASE TIP:
Dec alternately on right and left side of every section with 2 sts in garter st = 17-18-20-22-23-25 times on round.
Dec as follows before 2 sts in garter st: Work until 2 sts before the 2 sts in garter st, K 2 tog.
Dec as follows after 2 sts in garter st: Slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso.

SKIRT:
Worked in the round on circular needle from bottom up.
Cast on 323-340-374-408-442-476 sts on circular needle size 4 mm with Muskat. Now work pattern A.1 (= 17 sts) over all sts on round, i.e. 19-20-22-24-26-28 repetitions on round. When A.1 has been worked, there are 285-300-330-360-390-420 sts on round. Continue with A.2 (= 15 sts). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION When A.2 has been worked, there are 247-260-286-312-338-364 sts on round. Now work A.3 (= 13 sts). When A.3 has been worked, there are 209-220-242-264-286-308 sts on round. Continue with A.4 (= 11 sts). Work A.4 2 times in total vertically. Piece now measures approx. 20 cm. Now work a EYELET ROW - see explanation above, AT THE SAME TIME on 6th round dec 1-4-2-0-6-4 sts evenly = 208-216-240-264-280-304 sts. Then work pattern A.5 (= 8 sts) over all sts (26-27-30-33-35-38 repetitions on round). NOTE: At beg of 5th round adjust 1st st in repetition to work 1 st in stocking st at beg of round before continuing with pattern as before. At the end of round work last st in repetition in first st on what is really 1st st on 6th round. (Then on 7th round adjust pattern to work as shown in A.5). Repeat A.5 3 times in total vertically. The piece now measures approx. 36 cm vertically. Continue with eyelet row as explained above - AT THE SAME TIME on 6th round dec 4-0-0-0-4-4 sts evenly = 204-216-240-264-276-300 sts. Now work as follows from beg of round (= mid back): 5 sts in stocking st, 2 sts in GARTER ST – see explanation above -, * 10 sts in stocking st, 2 sts in garter st *, repeat from *-* until 5 sts remain, 5 sts in stocking st. Continue like this AT THE SAME TIME when 1-1-1-1-9-10 cm have been worked, beg dec - READ DECREASE TIP. Repeat dec every 8-9-10-12-9-10 cm a total of 3-3-3-3-2-2 times = 153-162-180-198-230-250 sts. Continue in stocking st with 2 sts in garter st as before. When piece measures 58-60-62-64-66-68 cm, work in stocking st for 2 cm, AT THE SAME TIME on last round dec 10 sts evenly = 143-152-170-188-220-240 sts. When piece measures 60-62-64-66-68-70 cm, P 1 round (= folding edge), then work in stocking st for 2 cm for hem before loosely casting off.
ASSEMBLY:
Fold the hem double towards the WS and fasten with neat stitches. Leave a little opening to thread the elastic through.
