Gauge: 2 shells = 1 3/4" (4.5 cm)

ch = chain
st(s) = stitch(es)
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
V-stitch (V-st) - (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) into ch 1 of the V-stitch of the prev. row
Shell - (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) into the ch-1 of the prev row shell.
Skirt
The skirt is worked top-down in the rounds.
Chain 60, sl st to the first chain, continue to crochet in rounds.
Round 1: ch 4 (counts 1 dc and 1 ch), *skip 1 ch, 1 dc in the next ch - repeat from * to the end of the round, slip st to ch 4.
Round 2: ch 1 (counts as 1 sc), 59 sc in every ch 1 and dc of the previous round, sl st to ch 1.
Round 3: ch 3, skip 1 st, *V-st, skip 1 st, repeat from * to the end of the round, sl st to ch 3.
Round 4: ch 3, *1 shell (see abbreviations above) into ch-1 of the V-st, from * repeat to the end of the round, sl st to ch 3.
