Having another go at this....sorry for the sporadic nature of this. Here we go.
Now is the cursed in-between time when I have been beat down by the long winter, but am growing a type of mania from the long days. 6 months of intense cold and darkness followed by as much lightness. And yet, everything is still cursed iced. My mind races along and my body sluggish to respond, cannot keep up. This is madness, this is called seasonal affective disorder. I do not know what you call it when you are home. In two months, sleep will be nearly impossible.

Yes, it is true I started this to contact the Vova; and have since succeeded. He says to keep at it. Perhaps. For everyone else who is not my acquaintance, be aware that I am not a native speaker of Russian.
First teacake: the ganache macaroon.
Heat 400 grams sweetened condensed milk in a pot over medium heat.
Stir in 400 grams toasted sweetened shredded coconut and a small quantity of vanilla extract. Cool some.
Scoop out 60mL quantity of mixture onto a plate, will make about 20 macaroons.
Make the chocolate ganache by gently heating chocolate with small amounts of butter, stir together to combine, adding butter as needed to make it silky.
Pour ganache over macaroons.
