Создание группы:
Близнецы Билл Каулиц (Bill Kaulitz) (родился 1 сентября 1989) и Том Каулиц (Tom Kaulitz) (родился на 10 минут раньше) начали свои представления с 9 лет.
После выступления в их родном городе Магдебурге в 2001, Том и Билл познакомились с Густавом Шэфером (родился 8 сентября 1988) и Джорджем Листингом (Georg Listing) (родился 31 марта, 1987). Их похожие музыкальные предпочтения привели к созданию группы ‘Devilish’.
В 2003 с группой связался музыкальный продюсер Питер Хоффман (Peter Hoffmann) и вскоре после встречи с ним группа подписала контракт с внутренним подразделение Universal Music в Гамбурге. Теперь они стали известны как ‘Tokio Hotel’.
Совместно с профессионалами Билл стал соавтором большинства песен в их альбоме Schrei (Кричи).
