DANNY McBRIDE was born in 1951 in Toronto, Ontario, and has spent all of his working years in the arts as a musician, composer, singer and artist.
First as a musician, composer and songwriter, Danny made world tours with the likes of David Hasselhoff, Chris de Burgh and Joe Cocker. His illustrious music career has netted him several gold and platinum records and a profile that still keeps him newsworthy. In 1996 he wrapped up a US and Taiwan concert tour and began to slow his pace.
Danny, now a painter, moved to British Columbia and began a new phase in his life. He is a self-taught artist whose unique figurative style soon emerged. His acrylic images come alive on canvas in textured still-lifes and smoothly finished ladies in hats. His art is always exciting as he creates scenes that are light-hearted and fun. His images are frequently sculptural in form, with layers of paint built up on the canvas, creating a very textured and bold composition.
His paintings have made a large impact with collectors across North America and Europe.

Claude JAMMET was born of French parents in Zimbabwe. She grew up and was educated in Kenya, India and Japan and moved to South Africa at the age of 19. She is entirely self-taught as an artist and was a director of the Tait Gallery in South Africa from 1983-1986.

Xue Yanqun, born in Dalian, China. He graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Art, Shenyang in 1981 and remained to teach there. Later he completed the graduate study and received a Master of Fine Art in 1989, he was a professor and the member of Chinese Artist's Association.
More than 200 of his works have been shown in China and overseas exhibitions since 1984. He won a silver medal, two bronze and some honorary rewards in these exhibitions. Six pieces of his works were shown and sold in the auctions of Christie's Swire in Hongkong and Taipei. About 220 pieces of his oil paintings have been collected by Chinese National Art Gallery and overseas art galleries and private collectors.

Mihail Aleksandrov is one of the most successful artists to have left the former Soviet Union. He works primarily in oil, tempera and watercolor.
Aleksandrov was born in 1949 in Vilnius, Lithuania and immigrated to the United States in 1980, settling in New York City. He has had many one-man shows in the States and has been collected in more than twenty countries worldwide.
His paintings pulsate with a vibrant spiritual energy. He never forgets his Russian r oots, which shape the mystical framework of his paintings. His paintings also reflect his personal belief that faith is at the center of our existence.

Born 1966 in Tokushima, Japan. Shinji Himeno studied from 1991 to 1993 at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. 1993 to 1997 at the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Wien by Arik Brauer. Shinji Himeno lives and works in Berlin since 1997.

Paul Roberts was born in Tiverton Devon in 1948. Brought up by artist parents in Wales. He studied at Newport, Cardiff and Goldsmiths Colleges of Art. Gaining early recognition in the 1970's, his career as a painter was interrupted when he had world-wide success with the rockband Sniff'n'The Tears in 1978. Commitments to music meant that until 2000 time needed to develop his career as a painter was to some degree curtailed. In 1988 he moved with his family to Somerset, where he has continued to paint and make music. His work can currently be seen at the Plus One Gallery London.
