It's weird to be at the house with the girls being gone. I guess Darla and Lindsey's weekend together went well. They both seemed happy and relaxed when I got in from New Orleans. I finished up some homework for my Monday class and hit the sheets because damn I was tired. I'm going to need to talk to Lindsey and Darla soon about Julian and my sisters, but I'm waiting for the right time.

Work has been steady, but Pan is vibing hard through the city. It's distracting our clients and starting to piss a lot of the higher ups off. Though, the rumor is that AI will be taking Pan out this weekend. It was a cool ride while he was here, but it's more than time for him to be gone. The increase in passion is damn distracting when you are trying to concentrate on work and school.

Hell, I caught myself checking out a couple of girls in my Psychology course and nearly talked one of them into going into the back of the library with me. I can't be doing things like that if I want to keep a low profile at school.

No word on Evalon. I need to check in with Ev and Michael and convince them not to head out this weekend. I think Darla wants to spend some more quality time with Lindsey and I'd like to at least get to go out for some drinks with Ev since I got to hang out with Eva at Mardi Gras. Yes, I'll totally use that angle to get her to stay. Besides, maybe the three of us could brain storm for a way to figure out what Julian knows about Evalon's disappearance.

Partying with Cristoff and Eva was fun, but exhausting. I lost count how many hurricanes we had, but on our way back to the hotel, someone spilled their drinks on Yuffie and me. I can't remember if Eva threatened to kill someone because of our clothes being ruined or if she was cracking up that we didn't move out of the way fast enough.

I don't even remember making it back to the hotel. Hopefully I didn't do anything too unappropriate or embarrassing. I vaguely remember singing 'you are my Sunshine' to Yuffie, but I think I may have did that in the bar while trying to sit on his lap.

The girls left for Europe last night. Lindsey was able to pull some strings to ensure they had safe travel arrangements from the sun. Darla has decided to join them in a few weeks and wanted to spend some quality time with Lindsey. That made my asking if she and Lindsey cared if I spent a couple of days in New Orleans for Mardi Gras with Yuffie pretty easy to get approval for. It's been awhile since they had a weekend alone and Yuffie was totally cool about porting me over.

I told him the weekend was on me. I rarely touch my salary from the firm, so I've decided to spare no expense this weekend. I called Eva and asked her to book Yuffie and me adjoining suites down the hall from her and Cristoff. She met with Grandmere and said that Grandmere really wishes to see me, despite my sun allergy problem. I let Evalon know before Yuffie and I left town.

The meeting with Julian Covault was predictable. He rubs me the wrong way. I noticed some things in him that I realize are reflected in myself. While those attributes have served me well as a law student and a vampire, seeing them used against my sisters nearly drove me to attack him.

I've toyed with victims before. Played on their emotions, their deepest desires and needs and I can't help but think that is what Julian was doing with Ev. Not sure if he believed she was truly my sister Evalon from this dimension, or if he knows a lot more than he's letting on, but regardless, it took great restraint not to snap his neck and be done with him.

I always thought that if I should ever meet my biological father that I would feel like a part of me was returned or something. I realize now that the void has been filled with Lindsey's presence in my life. I have a family and no longer do I long for a father.

Speaking of family, it appears Drusilla, Keira and Michelle will be taking a trip to Europe this week. Dru is going to show the girls around and Darla mentioned joining them in a few weeks. I'm sure they will have an amazing time. No limitations on their hunting in Europe and they can visit all the stores and places that Dru wishes to explore with them.

One thing I am concerned about is that it appears the Evalon from this dimension as disappeared with her family. Ev and Michael have stayed in LA so that Ev can continue to impersonate Evalon should the need arise. Eva and Cristoff are in New Orleans and are checking into things there. I hope they will be able to locate her. I'm concerned about her...and I can't help but think Julian knows a lot more than he is revealing.

Perhaps I'll have to ask Yuffie to teleport me to New Orleans sooner than later. I should visit my Grandmere and if needed, I'll have to see Julian again.

Lindsey wants us to go away for the weekend as a family. Guess he's feeling like we've all been so busy with our own stuff that we haven't connected in awhile. I'm all for a family outing and some major slaughtering. It will be awesome to get away from the city and hunt as a family. I've missed hunting together.

Work continues to be steady but kind of mundane. I know Lindsey is more than a little bored with having to deal with basically the same cases over and over again. Ever since Pan showed up in our city, things have been steady and boring. Makes me wonder if we're just waiting for the next shoe to drop. I know Lindsey plans to check into things, so he knows if he needs me to help, all he has to do is ask.

I've been busy with school though. Classes have picked up and I've been spending a lot of time at the campus library when I'm not in class. Tonight I stayed until the librarian nearly kicked me out. She was kind of rude and I was have tempted to make her my dinner, but I really shouldn't hunt on campus.

I guess I'll have to grab something on my way home.

I spent New Year's eve staying with Evalon and Michael. Keira and Michelle drove up with me and we had a good time visiting with both my sisters and our friends. Isabella's brothers and sisters were in town. Damn, good genes is an understatement. I feel like I should send her a present to apologize for the laughing and vamping out to show her siblings what a vampire looked like. Hopefully she can forgive me.

Work has been steady, but nothing too taxing. Lindsey has mostly been in court, so I've been handling the research and keeping the files in order. Classes are going well. Samantha was out for a few days due to her brother's disappearance. I'm positive she has no clue I had anything to do with it. Lindsey seemed okie with the gift, but I think he like the blood more than he cared that it was a holiday gift. I see his point, we are vampires, but Darla and Dru like to celebrate the holidays and whatever they want is usually what I go with. Keeps the house running smoothly. I made sure the body wouldn't surface in town because one should always cover their tracks.

Everyone seemed to love their jewelry and no one in Sunnydale pressed for details on how I got the presents. One thing I have discovered is that someone paid for a semester of school. The billing department at the firm asked me who paid for this semester since their check was returned to them. I have a feeling it may have been one of my sisters or even Isabella. I'll have to call later and find out from Eva who is responsible so I can thank them.

Lindsey is spending New Year's with Dru and Darla while Keira, Michelle and I drive to Sunnydale to hang out with Eva, Evalon, Isabella and everyone. I stayed with Eva during Christmas so I asked Evalon if the girls and I could stay with her and Michael for this visit. I'm keeping track of which sister's house I stay at on each visit so that I can keep alternating.

Tonight, the girls and I will stop off for a quick hunt in Santa Barbara before arriving in Sunnydale to party with everyone. I'm wearing the gorgeous watch Eva bought me and the leather pants that Evalon sent me. Keira and Michelle are pleased with how well both gifts look on me. I do believe my sisters will be recieving thank yous from the girls.

I picked up a few bottles of good champagne to ring in the New Year with. It will be good to see everyone. I'm back to classes on Monday. Sunday I'll need to finish up my reading and look over my homework to make sure it's ready to be turned in. I'm back at work on Monday as well, but I know I'm caught up there. So, I have the weekend to relax. Can't think of a better way to spend it.
