I can't believe it's nearly Christmas. Last year I had a pulse, basically no family, and spent Christmas weekend in Vegas gambling with some friends and sleeping with some showgirls. This year, I've lost the pulse, have a huge extended vamp family, the girl of my dreams is a vampire with me, and I found out who my father was (not that I've met the bastard) and met my sisters (dimensional doubles, not twins no matter what anyone would think if they saw them together.)

Work has been really relaxed. So much so, that I was able to cut out early and do a little Christmas shopping out of town with Lindsey. We found this really expensive privately owned jewelry store that was specialized in the finest jewelry and specialty gifts. We ate the clerks on duty and then we did our shopping. It's good to be a vampire at Christmas time. Not like we actually pay for anything.

I went with Ruby necklaces, all unique, for Michelle, Keira, and Drusilla. I found an amazing sapphire necklace for Darla and a sapphire bracelet for Victoria. I went with emeralds for Eva and Evalon, a bracelet for Eva and this wicked necklace for Evalon that accents her neck. Heh. For Isabella I found an opal ring, it's her birthstone and it was a one of a kind. I picked up a platinum diamond ring for Keira. Figured if vamping doesn't say we're together forever, a diamond would. I went with a watch for Cristoff.

Yuffie? I had to go to a different store for that and I actually paid for the items. A silver flask with his name on it and Madonna's box cd set. Plus I threw in Sonny and Cher's greatest hits. Heh.

I'm going to do something special for Lindsey. I've been tracking a guy for a couple of weeks now. I overheard a girl in my class talking about how her younger brother is still a virgin at 19 because he's saving himself for his upcoming marriage. Followed her home one night and got a look at the brother. Lanky, muscular, dark wavy hair and brown eyes. I'm bringing him home for Lindsey. Nothing but the best for my sire.

Finding Nemo. I have to go out and locate the Finding Nemo video game and the movie too. Since when do employees of Wolfram and Hart become surrogate Santa stand ins? Oh yeah, we're a full service law firm and whatever the clients want, the clients get. The client asked Lindsey to locate the stupid fish merchandise and of course he delegated that to me. Unfortunately I have no one to delegate it too.

After my psychology class tonight, I'll head over to the closest hell-mart. They're open 24 hours. If that doesn't work, there is that small electronics shop down town. It would be easy to break into. I'd rather not to have to break into it. I'm sort of saving the big break in for that specialty jewelry store that carries the one of kind items. Thought I'd get most of my Christmas shopping done early, you know.

Yeah, I'm a vampire, but we can still celebrate the fun holidays, right? I'm thinking rubies for Keira, Michelle and Drusilla, Emeralds for Eva and Evalon, Sapphires for Darla, and Opal for Isabella. I'll have to give some thought to what I give Lindsey. I think he'd appreciate something with a pulse.

Not sure if i'm going to have time to grab dinner before class, so if someone pisses me off at Wal-mart? I'm taking them outside and dumping them in a dumpster. Just have to remember they have more security cameras in Wal-mart than they do at Tiffany's.

I'm kind of glad work has slowed down a little. Well, Lindsey is still busy courting clients and negotiating contracts, but my part of work has slowed down since there hasn't been many cases to research. It's allowing me to keep up with my class work, in fact, I'm ahead in a couple of my classes.

I'm tempted to do my psychology paper on Darla, but I don't think the professor would believe a paper on the effects of a soul on a vampire. It's strange, Darla doesn't have her soul anymore. She lost it when the rest of us did and never had it put back, but the other night Dru and I were talking after we'd finished fucking and she mentioned Darla was still lurking outside the house where Connor and Dylan live. She used her own phrasing, but I got what she meant. Why is Darla still hung up on that? I thought she made a clean break and stuff after burning down the church? It doesn't make any sense to me. I guess having the soul taken out didn't change her that much. Though she doesn't seem to be as vicious as she was in the books I've read on her. It's strange.

Lindsey and I have taken to hunting after work. Keira and Michelle join us sometimes. Mostly we hunt on the edge of town, where the lust and passion is still running high, but we're far away too stay off Angel or Connor's radar. The kill is so much more satisfying now. I could ride this high for eternity.

UCLA has started classes again. I spread my schedule out so I am attending one class each night except for Friday. Lindsey approved the schedule and said work could be shifted so that I'd be able to carry a full course load. He's been pretty mellow lately, which is odd considering his lust for the kill has been more intense than ever.

Everyone seems affected by the passion and stuff and most people are taking to having sex in the streets, or wherever else they can hook up at. Not that Lindsey is turning down sex, mind you, he's been um real affectionate at home and stuff. It's just...I think this wave of passion is affecting his own passion for the hunt, the slow ecstacy of the kill. He's been teaching me, Keira and Michelle how to kill with precision, yet make the pain linger.

It's been wild.

Work continues to be steady, but very productive. We've generated a lot of new clients and most of the surviving clients have signed on to stay with our representation. I received another post card from Eva, she seems to be having a great time on her vacation. There was a post card from Evalon too. She's currently in Europe with Michael. Isabella has returned from Greece and I hope to make it down to Sunnydale soon to catch up with her, Penn, Yuffie and India.

My Tuesday night Pyschology class turns out to be Dylan Daniel's class as well. I sit about four rows up from him. Pretty sure he doesn't know who I am, but I damn sure know who he is. I keep expecting to see Connor appear to do a check of the room to make sure his precious Dylan is safe. Told Lindsey that Dylan was in my class and he nodded his head and reminded me to be discreet.

Man work is busy again. Good kind of busy though. We've been recruiting new clients and nothing puts Lindsey in a good mood like signing new contracts and brining in revenue. Mostly I've been handling the phone calls, filing the new paperwork and researching potential clients.

Heard from UCLA that classes will start back up the Monday after Thanksgiving. That will be cool. I've been itching to get back to school. I've pretty much picked out my classes, but apparently there was a scheduling problem with one of my psychology courses. I'll have to stop by the admissions office this week and meet with an advisor to get it squared away.

I received post cards from Evalon, Isabella and Eva this week. They are all enjoying their vacations. It's good to know they are happy and having fun.

Funny thing happened when I was checking out Lindsey's future cases. Turns out one of our clients is being sued by someone who is being represented by...Julian Covault. The case is still in preliminaries and hasn't really hit Lindsey's desk yet, but I'm thinking now that the apocalypse is over and things seem to be really good at the office and at home, it's time I sit him down and bring him up to speed on the family situation.

Maybe I'll talk to him tonight.

Huh. So, the renegotiating with clients is going really well. Everyone seems to be in a good mood and um, very very friendly. I swear if one more h'lork demon pinches my cheek on their way into Lindsey's office I'm going to vamp out and bite them.

We've been so busy, but at least business is booming and things are finally back to normal. Not exactly sure what happened to make LA the happiest city on Earth, but I'm perfectly okie with it. Rumor in the office is the God of Lust, Pan, may have been summoned to this dimension and our city. That would explain a lot. The last couple nights at home have been intense. Lots of family togetherness time.

I love spending time with the family and everything, but I've been craving a little alone time with just Keira. I asked Lindsey if I could cut out a little early tonight and take Keira out to Malibu for a little alone time. I've missed losing myself in Keira and sharing the connection that is just between us. We can hunt together and make love in the blood of our prey. It will be amazing. My girl is never more beautiful than when she is in her demon face, naked and splattered with droplets of blood.
