the final installment of my princess redesigns is my beloved cadance,,,i love her sm, even though i wish she would've done more in the show, i feel like there's a lot of neat things they could've done with her,,, i just adore the concept of a pony whose magical gift is spreading love

soo i took some more artistic liberties with her horn, as I've already done something new with celestia and luna's, i wanted something different with cadance as well. as we all know she was born a pegasus, so the horn isnt a natural part of her, and i wanted to show that by making her horn a whole ass crystal, since she ascended to an alicorn when she became the ruler of the crystal empire! her horn wasn't always bent and jagged like it is now, it became twisted due to the immense strain of magic she output back when she had to protect the crystal empire with a force field and so her horn is permanently wonky, but to her delightful surprise it actually resembles a heart!!

other than that i rlly just kept her the same, but i did make her rlly small and super fluffy and feathery, it makes her approachable and friendly looking i think!

I've talked about it before but i like to think cadance represents all forms of love, whether it be romantic love, family love or platonic love, even love for animals and nature and hobbies and everything in between. she's a big advocate for self love as well and sees the beauty in absolutely everything she encounters and is a gentle soul who likes to say she's a pacifist but she'll get her hooves dirty if needed. like celestia and luna, she has a magical aura that surrounds you when you're near her, you'll feel immediate calm and a warmth in your heart ^^

soo there's all the princesses! i had a lot of fun with these, and i might use this layout for my other future designs! I'm thinking about doing another mane six headcanon but all six girls separate on their own ref so i can get all my headcanons out together clearly, but we'll see!

Gold and red fairy dice dragon with removable d20. The wings were the main inspiration for this piece, but it was also an opportunity to use up some gold clay. It's been over a year since the last time I made a dragon in gold (the kitsune from the other day doesn't count). It's just not a color that I use very often for the body of a sculpture, though I use it all of the time for accents like horns and wings. There's been a shortage of polymer clay due in no small part, I'm sure, to Covid, and it's been getting difficult to acquire the colors that I need to fill orders, so I've been looking to some of my less usual colors for the sculptures that I make 'for fun'.

Crafted from Premo polymer clay, chameleon flakes, handmade fairy wings, and a d20. This dragon is currently looking for a home! Please visit his shop listing to view sales information and additional photos.

I'm not good at drawing owls, nor bears, so why not throw them together, what could go wrong? It's fun though, fantasy gives leeway, but you should really hit up references when you don't know stuff, don't be like me (hah!). I actually blanked out on the references thing and completely forgot that this magical machine I do my work on is also connected to the magic of the internet, so yeah, don't be like me.

One thing I will say about my new set up is that it's a lot more freeing with regards to generating a gestural feel to a lot of the strokes and sections, like I feel less of a limitation on forcing my eyes to come to grips with the limited surface area I can move my arm in order to create a line or stroke. It's a good feeling and I think that if I were using my old set up this piece would even more in shambles than it is
